  1. Once a kicker is in his own head they are done.
  2. Watching the game in spanish, from Panama, and no habla Español. At least I won't have to listen to ear Aikman.
  3. I also thought he had plenty of time to adjust to it. It seemed like the moment was just to big for him. For a while I was buying into the "quietly got better" thing. But that clearly didn't happen. At least not yet. Still early in the season and maybe they will gel, and a few guys will step up, but so far the entire group, including tight ends are underperforming. Brady is also not helping the situation, with many questionable calls. It boggles the mind how we are still so terrible at simple screen passes.
  4. Nice post, I always look forward to these. I couldn't agree more about the wildcat, told my wife that was a really stupid time to try to get cute against a very aggressive defense. That play may have cost us the game.
  5. Is there screaming lead guitar?
  6. No, I think they accurately represent old school football. Now the Steelers throwbacks are a serious eyesore.
  7. I started by Bills fandom at the Rockpile, where I literally sat "behind a post".
  8. It didn't used to be like this. I can't stand going to the stadium anymore because of it. Had season tickets for years but I just got tired of standing up for the entire game. I miss the atmosphere and the tailgating, but I'm to old to stand up for 3 hours straight, plus my wife is vertically challenged and can't see anything at all. Watches the entire game through the scoreboard. 10 ft projector screen and a couple easy chairs more than makes up for it.
  9. I lived in Florida for a while in the early 2000s. My wife and I went to a Bills backer bar nearby, we were playing the Browns, last game of the season. If we win we are in. The pub apparently was also a Browns backers bar as well and there were about 50 Browns fans and about 4 other Bills fans. The wings were the only good part about that day, as we got destroyed and the place couldn't have been more annoying, with all the screaming dogs!
  10. Had seasons for years but gave them up. 10 ft screen, comforts of home vs. $18 beers, having to stand up the entire game because of idiots. Not rocket surgery.
  11. Heard of them and hated those helmets in that era. I was livid when they changed from the classic white helmets.
  12. Red helmets, ugg! I could live with blue helmets. Let the Chiefs keep the red helmets.
  13. I repeat myself when under stress. I repeat myself when under stress. I repeat myself when under stress.
  14. I think it's quite possible someone he loves slips and he pulls the trigger.
  15. Careful, Mr. Favre seems quite litigious.
  16. Aqua and orange. Colors of my neighbors house. What a piece of poo.
  17. I went to a bunch of Bills games there, my family had season tickets and I sat "behind a post". My grandmother also took me to a ton of Bisons games there as well. That's probably why Highmark doesn't seem so bad to me, I've seen much worse.
  18. Not true. 4 players, for me OJ, JK, Bruce, Thurman. Ralph gets his own, ala Crazy Horse monument.
  19. I've been following the Bills since the 60s and never been as disappointed as I was during the wrecks era. I have seen some pretty sucky games and even entire seasons, but somehow having that idiot on the sidelines waste such a talented team really made me consider doing something else with my Sundays.
  20. I hated the red helmets, was so glad they went back to white. I like this but the facemask is a bit much.
  21. I spent 5 years living in South Florida and sat barricaded in my house through Wilma and Katrina. When Katrina started ripping the steel storm panels off our house in Pompano beach I thought we were goners. Never had that feeling in a blizzard, and we've had some doozies here. I will gladly face a blizzard each and every year before going through that again.
