Agreed. You got to draft smarter and look for Football intelligent players. Not guys who jump high and are athletically gifted and fit old school profiles. OBD definitely needs to be more Proactive in scouting players to today's standards. Football smarts makes all the difference in the world between a stud and dead weight.

I think this "Salary cap hole" is just an excuse. There are ways to make it work without getting into salary cap problems. Good upstairs people should be able to figure that out. Now, I for one want to keep all the good players we can keep. Byrd especially. He should be signed long term. If he's not, than that is a very telling fact, that the Bills are pretty much insincere on every building a winning team here. Bottom line. You gotta pay your football players and you got to bring new players in here. You don't stop at Mario Williams. You keep looking for the best talent and keep adding. Some players may not be worth it. But you have to keep looking. PS. Any nonsense about Trading or cutting Dareus and Spiller is foolish speak to me. I have no idea why you'd even entertain the thought. My opinion!

That's Fine by me, but THEY STILL NEED A TE!!! Pitta is oft injured and I'm putting all my chips in. No way do I go to war with Pitta as my starting TE. He's welcome to come in and compete for the job. But no way do I believe he'd be that guy.

I agree. They have alot to prove this season. There should be considerable growth on this team, but I just don't see it happening.

Ebrom. We need a TE. A game changing TE. It would give Manuel a new weapon!

Agreed. The #9 Player in the NFL Draft should be an impact player and contribute right away. I just think that teams put too much emphasis on addressing all their "Needs" in the draft and need to break that train of thought. FA should be used to get pro talent in those positions of need to contribute or atleast compete for the position. It can only help by having more depth and competition in those positions.

Address all position in FA that are a glaring weakness. Then build depth through the draft. The draft should be where you build depth at key positions., not search for starters. If those starters break through, than that's awesome, you did a great job scouting. But I say go get a WR, TE, QB, G, LB, CB in Free Agency. Bring in some players who have been on Playoff Teams to help bring about a change in attitude in the locker room. We need a culture change. FA's who have been on winning teams and were leaders are a great way to bring about an attitude change on this team.
