  1. Doc, I know you compared the LT position. What were you trying to say? What was the purpose of the statement? What are the implications of your statement? Let me make a similar comparison. The Bills secondary is solid and looks great with Bryd, Mckelvin, Florence, Scott, Mcgee, etc. The Cowboys look to be weak in the secondary with Jenkins, Newman, Ball, Hamlin, etc..... What the "F" is my point! Doc, your arrogance is annoying.
  2. Good in theory but hard to execute with a weak QB, OL, and WR. Misdirection plays are only so effective. You can't use misdirection plays all the time because opposing defenses will stiff them out for big losses. Also, I really think Gailey is going to try to pound the ball with his best weapons which IMO happens to be his running backs.
  3. Are you simple minded? Let me try to say it again. Every football fan knows the importance of the LT position. So don't try to belittle me. The man made a comparsion between us and the Cowboys. He picked one position that the Cowboys appear to be weak in. The comparsion is so silly because the Cowboys by most everyone's account are a top notch football team. Our football team by most football fans is ----? To answer your question. The LT position is very important but a solid offensive team like the Cowboys are more likely to be successful and overcome their shortcomings than teams like the Bills. The comparsion was, is, and still is ridiculous. NOW DO YOU GET IT?
  4. Pretty sad state of affairs when a fan is advocating a rookie college RB as being our #2 WR. WOW..... I sure hope Chan has a backup plan when teams stop our run. It's not like were the Jets daring teams to stop them. As an oppossing coach it sure seems like an easy glan plan to stop the Bills. I am praying Chan and some players can make something out of nothing. Every once in a while a blind squirrel finds the nut. I hope this is the case with the Bills.
  5. Former GM Matt Milan set this team back ages. What a shame because I really liked him as a player. He had no business being a GM. Old man Ford keep hanging on to him despite mistake after mistake. I believe it was one of his son's that finally had to axe him. Now they seem to be on the road to recovery. But indeed , they have been a worse franchise than us. However, that doesn't give me much pleasure.
  6. Appreciate the time it took you to do the research on these stats. IMO, stats are important but they can also be very deceiving. I would rather focus on the "main stat" wins and losses. No deception there. I think that's where the 2010 Buffalo Bills come up short....
  7. I saw the story. I am so desperate for a legitimate QB that maybe it has clouded my judgement. Nevertheless, I still think he was a steal at pick 41. Side note: Funny how some are so ready eager to write off Clausen but yet the very same people are on the Brian Brohm bandwagon....(promo I am not saying your on the BB bandwagon)
  8. Couldn't agree with you more. We have to pound the ball because there is no way in hell we are going to be an effective passing team with no QB, WR, or LT/RT.
  9. I totally supported the Bills when they didn't select Clausen with the 9th pick overall pick. But, with the 41st pick Clausen was a no brainer and the Bills blew it. They still could have drafted their N/T is the latter rounds. Personally, I would love to have seen Clausen start for us this season than any of the bums we have now.
  10. Good point but the problem I have is who knows if that QB will be avaiable next year, who knows if the Bills will select a QB, and who knows if they will select the correct QB? Lots of questions and nothing is for sure. IMO, the wait til next year QB statement is flawed.
  11. Very good question, it is hard to say without seeing them play. In that case, why should the Bills draft anyone? Are you satisfied and happy with the Bills current QB roster? I am not!
  12. I never said that! The point is the Cowboys are a solid super bowl contender and our Bills are solid contenders for last place in the NFL. The comparsions is and was silly and taken out of content. Yea so what the Cowboys have a LT that is medicore to average. The rest of their team is outstanding (not the secondary). Refer to my previous post to Doc.
  13. No Doc, the point is that the Cowboys have offensive weapons, a very good mobile QB, a fantastic RB duo, pro bowl TE and very good WR's, and a good offensive line. As a result, they may be able to get away with a sub par LT. IMO, it will hurt them but not as much as a team like us. You making a comparsion and singling out one position. I thought it was a ridculous comparsion. The Cowboys and the Bills shouldn't even be talked about in the same breath unless your talking about previous superbowls. That's coming from a person who hates the Cowboys. That's the point...
  14. Good post and and I agree with everything you said. Except, I am not high on Smith.
  15. Doc, you forget to mention the Cowboys have Tony Romo, Miles Austin, Dez Bryant, P Crayton, Roy Williams, and Jason Witten, Marc Cloumbo, Alex Barron. You should be ashamed of yourself to compare the Cowboys with the Bills...
  16. Doc, what you say is true and I cannot diagree with your post. I just don't like that fact that we are starting the season with only one legitimate proven NFL WR. IMO, as a fan that is unacceptable to me. The Bills organization should be ashamed of themselves. We as fans should be "outraged" by the product that they will put on the field. This organization hasn't filled the void of Reed/TO. The WR core has to be one of the worst in the NFL. Right up there with the Browns and Bears. What a sorry organization........
  17. Good point Albany. Instead, the FO passes up a Tebow, Clausen, McCoy, and Campbell to name a few. Oh, I forgot, they picked Levi Brown. What a joke... Another wait til next year situation for our QB situation. Who knows if they will even address this need next year? I am not holding my breath and I am not lying to myself and thinking anyone on our roster is a quaility NFL starting QB.
  18. That's a scary thought. Relying on rookie draft picks who were selected in the 2nd and 3rd round and a "one year wonder" out of college who may have "bust" written all over him. YICKS.........
  19. Looking at the WR roster, it wouldn't surprise me if the kid made the team. He doesn't have to beat out much? I can't remember a weaker Bills WR roster than the one we have now. Is this the worst WR roster of all time?
  20. Hey Corky, I think what your trying to say is the same old ShI T we have been hearing for ten years and counting. It gets old doesn't it?
  21. Rabbit your one of my favorites posters. I was just wondering how the heck are the QB's gonna look better with a 3-13 record. (Not to mention a porous OL and inexperienced WR's?) Seems like a contradiction? Other than that I completely agree with a 3-13 season give or take...
  22. I think it was very foolish of you to try justify the Bills FO decisions regarding the OL. That is a losing battle and the posters here have acted accordingly.
  23. I don't think he is a good fit for us. We are looking to the future and he gives little or no value to us in that regard. Additionally, he appears to be done. He cannot put anymore zip on the ball and his arm breaks down after playing so many games. I love his grit, toughness, attitude, and fight but he has no value to us. Too old and so on...
  24. Good rant and I respect your opinion. But, you didn't aswer the question about where the defense will be ranked... Your right about having concerns about the offense.
  25. I am on board saying I think our QB situation is one of the worst in the NFL. I still stand behind my statement. I still get frustrated when I think about the QB we could have picked up. With that said, I don't think the Bills FO are going to make any kind of QB move. We are "stuck" with what we have. I think Chan thinks he can work his "magic" with one of these sub par QBs. He has had some success in the past. Time will tell. I think we all need to stop grasping at straws like picking up Garcia and accept that TE, Fitz, or BB is going to be our QB.
