We beat them once last year and almost twice if Chan hadn't pulled Stevie for the rest of the game (one move of Chan's that I seriously disagreed with, should have only pulled him for one series of downs) and contrary to those that kiss the rings of NE, I don't believe they made any great off season moves, including their draft picks. If our defense (and offense too for that matter) plays even close to the level everyone is hoping for we will hand Tom Brady two defeats and a lot of turf. Could I be wrong? Sure, but if I'm right then we'll all have a lot to celebrate this season. Keep the faith until then people.

How can anyone guarantee success when there is little proof to substantiate it. Very few QB's (even the great ones) have success on other teams other than the one they were originally successful on. Look at Joe Montana and others who've tried and never really reached that level elsewhere. That's why you'll NEVER see Brady on any team but the pats IMO. Let's wait and see what P. Manning does in Denver too. I also agree Brees won't be going anywhere, but either way there are no guarantees and disagreeing or voting no isn't crazy.

I agree, except for Brady it would be Tight End and not receivers. He can't throw over ten yards consistently or accurately without Moss. They might have won their 4th bowl if he could. Poor Welker undeservedly gets all the blame.

I agree. Nix will go best player available and nobody knows how picks 1-9 will fall and who will be there at 10 so predicting it is futile. If nobody they like is there and they have an offer from someone to trade down (not likely but a small chance for it) then they'll do it. I'm hoping the vikes go cornerback and start a chain reaction. We'll see.

Bingo. Hopefully with Mario and a healthy D-line and full off-season this year, this will change and they won't have to try to cover for so long. We'll get a couple more corners in the draft and or FA and strengthen the position. I wouldn't be surprised to see a trade or something happen if they don't have enough money left to sign a known FA corner.

Take the best player available when out turn comes or if possible, trade down for more picks. They know these players best and I trust their judgement (unlike past regimes). so whoever they pick if they don't trade out of their spot will be just fine. If the BPA is an OT like Reiff and he's there at 10 then so be it.

I don't disagree but we need to see who we get during free agency to know what positions are strengths or weaknesses (for us as well as teams picking before or just after us) before looking at who to draft. There are endless scenario but for me it's too early to be discuss them seriously.

I think Nix\Gailey have done well so far considering what they inherited, except for the attempted 3-4 switch (definite mistake). The hybrid 3-4, 4-3 defense is probably the best approach for the current roster. If we can re-sign key guys, get a couple of key FA's and then draft for future depth we should have a brighter future than most expect. Left Tackle, Defensive End, and possibly (as I suspect they are considering) a wide receiver to play across from Stevie are weak spots that free agency should be used to address immediately (at least two of these spots). I do agree that now is the time to go after serious free agents to try to fill these holes if the deals are possible (player wants to play here, money is right for both sides, etc). As with all things, time will tell.

Huh? This reply is clear as mud. Not sure what your questioning about in my reply but I would love to get RGIII if doing so didn't jeopardize or cost the team beyond what is reasonable. As others have suggested, a balanced deal with some player trades and some picks involved would make sense if it were possible. I just can't see sacrificing so many high picks when we have multiple needs. We aren't in Atlanta's position like when they went after Julio Jones last year. Just my own approach to drafting, doesn't mean I'm right or wrong.

I don't believe this team can afford to do this yet and give up picks that they seriously need to fill holes that have been missing or lacking for too long now (LOT, DE, OLB, WR, etc.) Fitzy will bring this team success if these holes are addressed properly and then in a year or two get a 1st round QB to learn under Fitzy. Cam Newton did great last year and the Panthers still lost because of their other weaknesses, and they were lucky he didn't get injured badly. They may win much more this year or they may not but they didn't give up the farm to get the pick they had either. We need to strengthen our D a little more with a DE or OLB and add a couple more weapons on offense now, then address the future QB pick after that. P.S. There's always an "elite franchise" QB in every draft but selling the farm to get one isn't wise IMO.

.... awesome reply. Happens every year too. I do believe he'll be better than Cam or Luck but it's all a crap shoot and the Bills have been shooting "crap"s for awhile now. Melvin Ingram is the guy I hope we get on D.
