So count this as another loss against the Patriots. Fantastic. I want a burger. -

zzzzzzzzzzz...you still talkin? Sorry you can't see that Spiller isn't producing. And when he's a 3rd year veteran with half a year of game experience, that will be a huge step back in his development. How many yds per carry did he average last time? 1.8 or something? 2.9 yds per carry the last 2 games? Around 4.1 yds per touch for the season on offense? Yup. I see potential there. -

Yes, you leave that up to ME, because that logic is total BS. Coaches will ALWAYS put the best players on the field that put the team in the best position to win. They will NEVER hold out and put a good/great player on the bench for future purposes. That's mindblowing that you even think that. Yes, you organize a plan to regain a measure of long term success. What does that have anything to do with sitting a "good" player on the bench? If you want a long term success and see one of your players as being a part of it, then you PLAY him and give him game EXPERIENCE. How is a player to get experience while rotting on the bench? Are u freakin kidding me? The best way to improve as a team is to grow as a team and PLAY. I know that logic is very difficult to you. More game time and playing time = experience and improvement. SHOCKER. I know. Stick with me though. I know this logic is probably hurting your head right about now. Everything else you're babbling about doesn't make sense. The ONLY way to get better is game experience. Practice only gets you so far. Training camp only gets you so far. The only way to get better as a player is to play in a GAME. This doesn't help him at all. And you wanna talk about saving him for the future? If that's the case, then Spiller has lost 2 years of game experience because most likely there won't be an NFL season next year because of the lockout. So he won't play next year either, and he'll come into his 3rd year rusty. GOOD LOGIC -

I could care less what you think cuz i KNOW you're wrong. That's the difference. I KNOW you're wrong. You THINK you're right. Whatever. You brought up Bush in comparison to the situation here. And my point was that he wasn't being saved for anything. That's the difference between your posts and mine. I back up my statements with facts, and you keep feeding this bullsht of stuff you can't even prove and just doesn't make sense. Lastly i never namecalled. I called you posts dumb, which they are, but never did i insult YOU. Whether the team is winning or not, players who produce get on the field. No team SAVES players for the future. This concept you have is just mindblowing. It really is. -

If you truly believe this then I feel really really really really really sorry for you. No team in their right mind would EVER save a RB for the future like that. If you produce you play. Not that difficult to comprehend. He wasn't the best player available, Dez Bryant was, and he's outproduced him in ever way possible. Punt returns, touchdowns, and it's MUCH harder to produce as a rookie WR than it is for a rookie RB. So save yourself that bullsht. YOU BRINGING UP BUSH??? REGGIE BUSH - 565 YDS RUSHING, 742 RDS RECEIVING, 88 RECEPTIONS, 8 TDS. CJ SPILLER - 248 YDS RUSHING, 22 RECEPTIONS, 103 YDS AND 1 TD Almost twice as many rushing yds, about 6 times more receiving yds, 4 times more receptions, and 8 times more TD's. Saints didn't hold back in using Bush. TRUST ME. Saints found ways to get Bush on the field because they knew he could play. Not because they were "saving him for the future." That is the DUMBEST thing I've EVER heard in my entire life. -
Not really? That's just an ignorant thing to say. Just because you're eye sight goes and your reaction time lags, doesn't necessarily mean your brain is jelly. What does driving have anything to do with this?
-
Well said. I've already pointed out that the Kelso helmet wouldn't stop concussions but people here just don't tend to listen. Concussions are a part of the game. It sucks, but there's no way in stopping it. If you wanna stop it, then we must change it to a no tackle league. Flag football or 2 hand touch maybe.

Tebow is not that good. I don't get people's obsession with him. His delivery STILL takes forever, his accuracy is off, and he'll always be a gimmick QB. From that highlight clip of Tebow, i saw 2 passes that SHOULD'VE been intercepted (both in the endzone), and only 1 good throw. Completing 50% of his passes? C'mon dude.

If you wanna draft a RB for the FUTURE, then don't waste a top 10 draft pick for it. That's just fckin retarded. You're saying we're paying a RB all that money so he can be used in the future? That is the biggest load of crp I've ever heard. No team would take a RB in the top 10 and save him for the future. If you wanna draft a RB for the future, then you do it in the later rounds, not with a top 10 pick. Unless you're a QB, u take a player in the top 10 to play NOW. I've heard it all. If you're a RB that was taken in the top 10, and you're not on the field, then you're not doing your job. Coaches won't SAVE a secret weapon for the future. This is how it works... You do well in training camp, and in practice. You get playing time. You improve in games, then coach will give you more carries. That's just how the game operates. You honestly think the Vikings would've "SAVED" Peterson for the future? You think the Saints would've SAVED Bush for the future? -
I'm pretty sure that it is illegal for a RB to GRAB the defender by the facemask.

Our record has gotten worse, but the production from our players has improved IMMENSELY. He's assertive in his decisions and doesn't dck around like Jauron did. He knows what he wants and goes with it and doesn't play the QB roulette game. He didn't like what he saw in Edwards so he got rid of him. He developed Fitzpatrick into a starting caliber QB and look at what he's done for this WR core. Steve Johnson and Parrish are being utlized VERY well and D. Nelson is coming along very nicely. He put Woods back in his natural position and our o-line is much improved from what they were before. Our offense is moving the ball, and is putting up points. The only thing i fault him for was hiring George Edwards to run this defense and the drafting of Spiller. Other than that, I'd give him a B+ or A-.

This is true. Great backs CAN make your line look better. Our line has been playing decent as of late. Where are you Mr. Spiller? 9 carries for 16 yds. Just a hair under 2 yds per carry. Sweeeet You want to look at a GREAT draft pick? Look at Moats. Bad one? Spiller. Moats has shown me something. His numbers aren't off the charts but he's done something, and being a pass rusher as a rookie and getting sacks is A LOT harder than playing RB. -
Ummmm no? He didn't look that good.I expect my QB to THROW the ball, and he really did get LUCKY with that TD to Brandon Lloyd. Coulda, shoulda been picked off, so he hasn't shown me anything yet. Tebow only completed 8 passes dude. That's 2 passes per quarter. You think that's good? You people need to up your standards.

If you think those numbers are good, then I'm sorry you have such low standards for a top 10 pick. I expect a top 10 talent at the RB to produce immediately. Being outproduced by the likes of: Lagarrette Blount, Jahvid Best, Chris Ivory, Ryan Mathews, Toby Gerhart. Enough with the Spiller talks until he actually does something -
Read my last post. Patriots are putting up an average of 40 points against 3 of the elite defenses in the league. And the Patriots defense has allowed an average of ONLY 17 pts the last 2 or 3 games i think. I would consider James Harrison and Julius Peppers some of the elite pass rushers in the game. What good did that do? Yes, you need pass rushers, and yes you need defense, but you need to put up points against the Pats as well. You can't just sit there and hope that your defense stops them and just run the ball. You gotta ATTACK that team. Clock killing running game? You don't think teams have tried doing that? You need a great offense AND defense to take on this team.
-
If this is true, then why is it that the Patriots averaged almost 40 points against the Steelers, Jets and Bears defenses? 3 of the top defenses in the league this year. Steelers pressure the QB more and better than any team out there. Doesnt really work does it?
-
I'd like anybody to point out where I said the skill sets are completely different. If I never brought it up, then what's everybody's point? I'm just pointing out the fact that LT and RT are different. Just FYI.
-
Stop pretending that you were trying to be humorous in that post. We all know that you were serious and didn't know the difference between a LT and RT.
-
You'd overpay Whitner a little to keep him? WOW... What's he done for this team? Does he do anything besides tackling down field? He's not worth it dude. I wouldn't even think twice about signing him. You can get another safety that brings the same amount of production to this team or even better. If you think he's irreplaceable, then i dont know what else to tell you.
-
Actually, playing LT and RT is different. If they were the same, then why do you always put your best tackle on your QB's blind spot? Bell is a decent tackle who is good enough to be on this line, but i wouldn't trust him protecting our QB's blind side. And if you don't see that, then I'm sorry. Can't help you there. Continue with your automated response.

Patriots just put up 39 points against the Steelers, 45 points against the Jets and 36 against the Bears. The numbers 3, 4 and 8 ranked TOTAL defenses in the league. Soooo....yeaaa. We need a balanced team to beat the Patriots on offense and defense. The Patriots are going to put up points REGARDLESS of who they're playing so we better be ready to score some points ourselves. So if you guys are saying that the only way to beat the Patriots is defense. YOU'RE wrong. Patriots are gonna score their points. We need a balanced team.
