LOTS of athletes do it. Almost everyone who's supposed to be someone signs a big endorsement deal. Lebron was a multi-millionaire before he was even drafted. Sebastion Telfair made money. Its part of the business. I just don't like the way he answered the question.

That's another thing. I think a young QB can learn A LOT from Fitz. From his experiences as a backup, starter, life, whatever. And he can take him under his wing and teach him a thing or 2. Go Gabbert.

I dont think Nix is all that into the whole mind games of draft day. Last year he said he wanted a small scatback. And we got Spiller.

Surprised that nobodies mentioned these 2 guys (unless I completely missed it), but I wouldn't be surprised if we took Gabbert with our first pick, took someone like Marvin Austin in the 2nd and Romeus or Sheard in the 3rd. Considering that Wannstedt knows these guys better than anyone, I wouldn't be surprised to see us drafting one of them. I'd watch out for Greg Romeus and Jabaal Sheard in the 3rd round. Jabaal Sheard - 6-3" 264 lbs 4.69 40, 5.5 sacks in 08, 5 sacks in 09 and 9 sacks in 2010. Big East defensive player of the year in 2010. Charged with felony aggravated assault, criminal mischief and resisting arrest when he through a guy through a glass door. BUT, he was awarded a bravery medal for helping an old lady escape from a burning building in Florida. Greg Romeus - 6'5" 264 lbs, 4.85 40, 4.5 sacks in 07, 7.5 in 08 and 8.5 in 09. These guys are definately guys we'll be looking at in round 3. PS. I hate Cam Newton.

Stats don't tell the entire story. But I guess you missed my thread on that. It's stat junkies like you that can't see the whole picture and know NOTHING about what they're talking about. There's a reason why he's being double and triple teamed and held. Cuz he's just that good. Sure I can read all the player's stats and base my comments off their numbers but what would that prove?
