  1. That's some funny stuff. So, if we win Sunday, will that make us the best 1-7 team of all time? Or, do we have to keep losing close ones to keep such a distintion?
  2. I am only speculating, but a firm revearse chokehold is an effective way to restrain someone who is smaller than you without hurting them or allowing them to hurt you, and it can be done without actually choking the person. If the dude was trying to hurt her, there is no doubt he would have succeeded.
  3. Better than the laughing stock we were just a few weeks ago. Detroit is getting better, KC is tough, St Louis is looking dangerous, tha Raidahs are taking no prisoners, Tampa Bay is turning it around again, the freakin JETS are at the top of the heap! All of the perenial losers are turning things around. The Bills and the Browns need to join the party!
  4. Lipstick on a pig is still lipstick, I'm pretty sure.
  5. Touche. To answer your question though, no, I do not, this thread isn't about me, and I've never had those sort of accusations aimed my direction. That woman chose to dress that way, and I happen to like it. Big difference. Would I act like anything less than a gentleman in her presence? Never.
  6. Furburgler - multiple accusations with numerous accounts of him being a complete who enjoys treating women like meat Lynch - multiple accusations, a misdimeanor conviction, thug image, but generally seen a friendly guy who is too dumb to stay out of trouble Merriman - one accusation by a drunken filthy that instigated the confrontation while he was trying to keep her from driving drunk
  7. How nice of you to also mention that the case was dropped.
  8. PFT had us at 29 - above Denver, Dallas, and Minnesota. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/11/02/week-eight-power-rankings/ Consensus - we are not the worst team!!!! Of course, some of us already knew that.
  9. ...and the Bills are the ONLY team to have such a dubious honor.
  10. Smiling....or laughing?
  11. I was planning on making the trip from Tulsa, as well as a trip last weekend to the ADRL finals in Dallas, but I wound up buying a house instead. All plans for the the next 12 months are canceled. Have a great time....GO BILLS!!!!
  12. An equitable transfer of ownership to a Buffalo Bills faithful.
  13. I like Fitz. He is the best we've had since Flutie. He has heart. He is a football player.
  14. Welcome foreplayer. Great name! best screen names...
  15. foreplayer welcome to the board
  16. You've made a great point. I dont think that "helmet-to-helmet contact" is difinitive enough. If they are going to be stricter at enforcing the rule, they need to more clearly define it. This should be the definitive rule: Hitting with the crown of your helmet is illegal, hitting with your facemask is legal, regardless of where you hit them - so long as it is above the thighs. As you observed, it should be clear to the ref whether the defender is looking at the ground or looking at runner/receiver. That should apply to hitting the quarterback as well.
  17. Drunk and lonely at 3am, huh? Your girl told you to quit drunk dialing her, didn't she?
  18. Defensive offsides. Put it back the way it used to be. If the defender jumps over the line, but gets back on his side of the ball without touching an O-lineman, before the snap, he should be considered onside. Penalizing a defender for causing the offense to flinch is bullcrap. The offense already has the advantage of knowing the snap count.
  19. Great idea! I think you have proposed a perfectly fair solution. Also make them sit out at least one play for unsportsmanlike conduct. I love big hits, but I would rather watch a defender with good technique instead of just a hard head.
  20. Do you see the irony? Ralph kept his promise to keep the team in Buffalo (arguably, a poor business decision), and all these decades later, we should be thankful, but we can't be because of his poor decisions. Kind of like thanking a deadbeat, neglectful parent, just for bringing us into the world?
  21. I have Peyton Manning and Frank Gore as my two top scorers, but, I am really torn this week about my second RB - Beanie Wells, Fred Taylor, or Marshawn. The smart money is probably on Taylor, but I just cant bring myself to start him against the Bills. Beanie is coming off an injury, and his replacement, Tim Hightower, has run really well, and should continue to get the most carries. Of all three defenses, New England* has given up the most rushing yards which gives me hope that Marshawn might get his BEASTMODE on. I guess I'll never win at fantasy football, because I just can't take my heart out of the equation. I am going with Lynch. LETS GO BUFFALO!!!
