Im impressed that he can write well. I mean, paragraphs, punctuation, and all. Coherent thoughts put in writing - that's probably better than 75% (random stat that i pulled outta my behind) of high school graduates can do. Seriously. I hope he has a great football career, but at least this young man has something in between his ears that he can truly rely on. Disclaimer: I couldn't write my way out of a wet paper sack after high school and college. And im a fairly smart guy (really...I got 5 out of 5 correct on that kindergarten entrance exam on OTW). I learned to write when I (mistakenly) was given a tech-writing job. Tech Pubs sucked, but I knew the subject matter well, so I was able to fake it long enough until I actually figured out HTH to get an engineering position.

Weird. I was thinking about looking for this thread again. I just started at S1.E1. last night - for my third time. I don't have cable, and I have pretty much worn Netflix out. I can't believe that I still found that first episode thrilling on the third go-around.

Someone upthread mentioned Memento. Good choice! I just watched it on Netflix. What a mind f¿<☆! I had seen it once before before about a year ago, but it was definately better the second time. It was very hard to follow the first time.

Yeah, I had to tone it back to nodding and toe tapping about 10 years ago after a Clutch concert. My neck was sore for a month after that one. And I did not even dare to enter the mosh pit. Seriously, guys were coming out bloody and crazy-eyed.

I think the current uniforms are great, but I am intrigued by the blue helmet. Pretty cool looking. I don't like the red helmets, but I would choose them over the grazing buffalo waiting to be slaughtered.

I wonder what other perks are available to the players that do not affect the cap? Medical insurance? 401k (lol)? Tuition assistance? (Lolol) discount on their cell phone bill?

I know nothing (surprise!) But I would guess he COULD be more free with things other than player salary. Facilities, gyms, equipment, etc. Cheerleaders? Team dinners? Fan experiencem Is there a limit to how much they can spend on coaches? Christmas cards?

RxSo, a buddy from work invited me to see 311 tomorrow night. Has anyone here ever been to one of their shows? Sorry to go off topic. Im a huge Floyd fan - saw them in Dallas in '95ish (tripped balls, lol). Anyway my buddy and I are also both big metal fans, so I was a bit surprised when he told me that 311 is his favorite concert band and that he's seen them live 12 times. He says it is a great show, and there are lots and lots of fine females at their show. I like 311, but they don't even crack my top 100. But a great live performance could persuade me otherwise. Anyone here seen them before?
