Agree on Knox. Just now I was rewatching the first Miami game from last season where he made one of those drops -- turning to find the defender before securing the ball. That's concentration/focus, not lack of skills. I think he'll be just fine.

Hell, we barely have receivers reach that mark. Difficult when 95% of your drives go Run-Run-Pass-Punt. I know it isn't really 95%, but sure feels like it sometimes.

Even the best TEs in the game average only 70-75 yds per game...

Right? I think the Bears have more tight ends than we do receivers.

He signed a 1-year deal....I'm guessing all of this "doing what's right for me" talk had nothing to do with his pay/contract/cold feet/helmet and everything to do with a ring. As badly as I'd like to see NE implode, I'm guessing he plays the role model WR for one year just to get his ring.

But that's EXACTLY my point: IF Brown was planning all along to void his deal & work his way to the Patriots, then a contract with the Bills means that we'd be dealing with this mess instead of the Raiders. That said, I don't really think that he had devised some long term "grand plan" to end up in NE.

In retrospect, that may have been the best decision Beane has made.

OK, so here's a question: Trying to remember, but didn't AB actually approve the trade to the Raiders? He blew up any talk of a trade to Buffalo, so I thought he agreed to go there. If his evil plan was always to get himself kicked off a team to join the Pats, then he just as easily could have done this to us.

This just in: The Patriots also have been awarded additional 1st round picks in 2020 and 2021 as compensation for the false tampering claims.

I can't say that I disagree - I really don't like Rosen - but AZ was a hot mess. I know it's been said a million times here, but you can never really know how good/bad a player is when they have a poor supporting cast. He sucked with a crappy offensive cast in AZ. So, the question I have is whether or not Miami's o-line and skill positions are substantially better than AZ. If yes, then maybe Rosen will actually play better. If not, then there's absolutely no reason to expect that he will suddenly play well enough in Miami to carry them to a WC (i.e. he still will suck). ...that said, I do hope that the dolphins go down in huge (figurative) fireball.
