  1. I wholly disagree that his knee injury is karma related. It’s just bad luck. Really bad luck, considering they restructured his contract into a one year deal. Buffalo winning the Super Bowl, after he forced his way out because he thought he couldn’t win a Super Bowl here, now THAT would be karma.
  2. Just read that article and, damn, I see him in a completely new light. I’m really rooting for this kid.
  3. Ditto here….DAZN, which includes every game (no additional subscriptions required), an extensive catalog of games from previous seasons, and NFL network shows. Not a terrible deal.
  4. and the hair….don’t forget the hair!
  5. This is actually a good point….I’d like to know how our RB yards/attempt rank without Allen’s runs included. That’s a more telling picture of the running game.
  6. O-Line. Period. We can't consistently run the ball and that's not all on the RBs. Give Josh 1 extra second in the pocket before feeling pressure and we're putting up 40 points a game. I'll take a 45-32 victory every day of the week.
  7. I have two thoughts on this game: By the 4th quarter it felt like a preseason game where our JV team was playing against Miami's starters. And lost by two points. Any other team with 60-70% of their starters out would have been roasted, but our JV showed a lot of heart in keeping it close. Which brings me to my second point. I don't know if many of you are old enough to remember the Epic in Miami game (vs SD), but this game brought those memories rushing back. In all of these years, I haven't seen a game that compared until today. If you haven't seen it, watch it.
  8. completely out of context. the rest of his speech was about JA's smart decision making, precision, and taking what the defense gives him instead of trying to force the ball. i didn't have any issues with it, he was just trying to find a funny way to note JA's maturation as a qb. which is all true.
  9. It's been done before....just sayin'
  10. I know, that's what I really meant by funny. I haven't even had my morning coffee yet, so my sarcasm isn't on point yet.
  11. Funny, I was thinking the same thing. And when he shanks one, nobody gets mad because he's actually expected to do so once in a while. This team does love position flexibility.....
  12. Hold on, guys...OP may be on to something here. You know how kickers hate frozen footballs, right? In addition to holding for that kick during sub-zero temps in the AFC championship game, Haack could keep the balls warm by sticking them down his pants until they're ready for the field goal attempt. Then we're actually saving money because we get a designated holder AND ball warmer for $650k.
  13. Sounds like someone was either starting Ulmer in his fantasy league or placed a $1000 bet on him to be rookie of the year....
