If you want to make a decent point at least compare Polian's 'top picks' with others in his era. I am not sure you have a grasp on how the draft works. Why don't you at least provide what you feel would be the best GM's picks of that same era for us to compare?

OUCH....................... The big news, of course, is Maybin, whose star (if you could call it that) faded quickly after showing promise last season as a situational pass rusher. He led the Jets with six sacks last season, raising expectations for 2012. He didn't deliver. He recorded zero sacks in the first eight games and was a healthy scratch Sunday in Seattle, where he was replaced by a guy who never played in an NFL game --Ricky Sapp Rex Ryan talked up Maybin in the preseason. Then again, he talks up a lot of players and they never pan out. He raved about FB John Conner, and look what happened to him. He, too, is unemployed. The Jets thought they had discovered a gem in the trash pile last year, when they signed Maybin after he was jettisoned by the Bills, who picked him 11th overall in 2009. He made a few plays and talked a lot in the offseason, saying he was going to gain weight so he could be an every-down player. That never happened. Because he can't play the run, Maybin was relegated to third-and-long situations, and his playing time diminished. Nicknamed "Microphone" because of his booming voice, Maybin liked to talk. That chafed some teammates and it may have bothered some coaches, too. It's not the hit that bothers me....It's the fact that we SUCK and we are New England's Bitches. I don't give a crap. You win and it hurts A LOT less. This is a loser thread. Hey, I am agreeing with you (That is allowed on this board - hahhaha). Ralph has basically proven he is a losing owner. Unless he lives to 110, there is no way he approaches a record over .500 for his career as an NFL owner. What I meant was the good times (ie the late 90's) were more of a case of him being lucky (ie a broken clock), then him being good. Now he's mad. This is a stupid original thread only because for those who have paid attention the last 15 years know that Ralph has been mad most of the time....because we have been losing. The problem is: Ralph being mad doesn't mean there is something good on the horizon. Good Times. Go Bills.

I am ALL for drafting a QB. BUT do you realize that Andrew Luck is on pace to break the ALL-TIME NFL Record for wins for a rookie QB??? That RECORD is 7 WINS!!! 7 SEVEN This scares the hell out of me. It puts on a ANOTHER 3 year re-building plan Not sure I can swallow that pill. Plus be careful what you wish for. We draft a starting QB, we go 5-11. Then this board lights up and boils over that we picked the wrong guy. Then fire the coach. Fire the GM. Draft another guy. Be careful what you wish for!!

Man, this is really a LARGE part/reflection of Wilson's legacy..... 'Knox was a savior of sorts when he coached the Bills to their first win over Miami in 11 years and won the division. He did a weekly TV segment with News10NBC and actually made predictions.
