  1. "** Disclaimer - I understand that: 1) Hindsight is 20/20" Do you really??
  2. "When the Bills’ offense takes the field Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium, it will do so with a center coming off a torn ACL, a right tackle who is still battling back from surgery on his groin, and a right guard who sat out Wednesday’s practice because of a sore back. “Look how many different combinations of offensive lines we had last year (eight) and we protected pretty well,” said Erik Pears, who returned to practice this week after missing most of the preseason with his groin problem. “It’s not going to be perfect every year. It’s pretty rare you’re going to have the same five all year; guys have to step in and play.” This is true, but it certainly isn’t ideal that before the Bills have even played a game, they have three players — Pears, Eric Wood and Kraig Urbik — who won’t be 100 percent at the start. And factor in that they will have rookie Cordy Glenn playing what is considered the most important position on the line, left tackle..." Source: http://www.democrata...two-bills-drive
  3. The NY Jets will be without a big force on defense as Sione Po'uha isn't ready to go this week. The Jets have suffered a blow on defense two days before their opening game on Sunday. DT Sione Po'uha will miss the divisional matchup against the Bills, Rex Ryan said. The veteran DT missed nearly all of training camp with "back tightness" and essentially did not return to practice until this week. Early in camp Ryan said he was not concerned about Po'uha's injury lingering, but lately had expressed some skepticism. Po'uha told reporters this week that he would play vs. Buffalo, but Ryan said he wanted to play it cautiously and make sure the DT got on the practice field. Kenrick Ellis will replace Po'uha at nose tackle. "He's close. He really is close. He's begging us to play, but I think we're just going to be smart," said Ryan. The defense will also be missing S Eric Smith (knee), ruled out earlier this week. Ryan said he believes both will be back for Week 2. On the flip side, it appears that TE Dustin Keller (hamstring) and DT Mike DeVito will be good to go on Sunday. Read more: http://www.nydailyne...5#ixzz25omqeges
  4. Is that where he is from??? Or did they draft him? Just not sure what the BACK TO means.
  5. Hey I totally respect the Giants/Super Bowl Champs and I love their defense BUT.........Both years they won the Super Bowl they were 9-7 in the regular season. They are not the second coming of the Steel Curtain. They are a very good football team with good coaching, a great D-line, great balance and most important = They got Hot at the right time in both their SB seasons. Here's hoping we can do the same!
  6. Seroiusly???????????? gee I wonder.
  7. Love the last sentence of the story. Quote from Holmes: "Holmes was skipping Sanchez's player meetings by the end of last season, but he appears to have a fresh outlook. Said Holmes: "I'm going to ride with him until the end." Really? Did he really just say that?? I think that's called foreshadowing!!!! "I'm going to ride with him until the end." "I'm going to ride with him until the end."
  8. He's down to 215 on passing downs....BUT he beefs up to 280 for run plays. Amazing.
  9. Why So Serious??? No, but seriously....excellent analysis and comment. The only thing we may have going our way is that most teams have a weakness (or several). Cheers. Go Bills.
  10. Who should the Bills release in order to sign him? It could be taken as a poor sign for Branch's future that the league's receiver-neediest team isn't interested in his services... HAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA. Did you JUST answer your own question? This thread is like a riddle.
  11. Just stumbled across the Wildcat Secret/The Wildcat Running Scheme: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=fvgSeedL3Oc NEW JETS COACH MAKES PLAYERS HIS BEEOTCH
  12. The Ravens have reportedly agreed to a restructured contract with LT Bryant McKinnie. Wanting to stay with a winning team, McKinnie was amenable to reducing his $3.2 million base salary after all. The new deal still leaves McKinnie as a free agent in 2013. Allowing Michael Oher to stay at right tackle and rookie Kelechi Osemele at guard, this is music to ears of Joe Flacco owners counting on a smooth transition to the no-huddle attack. The Cardinals, Jets and Chargers miss out on a chance to upgrade their pass protection. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/1210/bryant-mckinnie
  13. Not being picky but he said......."I like Tim Tebow, your prototype NFL quarterback, not quite, but he brings a wrinkle to an offense where it keeps the opposing team doing a lot of guessing, especially early in the season.” NOT QUITE: Actually.... I really like that as a theme for this years 2012 New York Jets: NOT QUITE.
  14. um. that was 2011 Hard Knocks. But, good times.
  15. While I'm all for the no-huddle............RUN THE BALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go Fred-Ex!!
  16. "It's hard to win in the NFL." -Dick Jauron OK, sorry.
  17. Is the sky falling now? Or is that scheduled for later today? Next week? I think now. You?
  18. As I understand it, they would HAVE to sign him to the active roster. Otherwise Buffalo gets first 'dibs' for practice squad. (wow, don't think I have ever written the words dibs.)
  19. Let's Hope he apologizes to Brady about 15 times this year! Bradying.....
  20. Hmmmmmmmmm. Logic. What on Earth are you doing here??????????
