kirk cousins is the guy i could see buddy/chan really liking. a lot like ponder
-
I think we're comparing apples and screwdrivers. We need a 3-4DE, 3-4OLB, and another DT, not a ILB like Upshaw. No OLB43 like Zach Brown or 43DT like Jerel Worthy. I'd even take a good cover CB in RD1.
My choices, drafting at #17-24, would be (in my order of preference):
- Billy Winn DE34 Boise State
- Brandon Jenkins OLB34 Florida State
- Morris Claiborne CB LSU
- Levy Adcock OT Oklahoma State
- Alameda Ta'amu DT34 Washington
- Andrew Datko OT Florida State
- Donte Paige-Moss OLB34 North Carolina
- Jared Crick DE34 Nebraska
you think paige-moss has fallen that far already? i havent been able to watch to much of him but there was a lot of buzz on that guy wasnt there?
- Billy Winn DE34 Boise State

vontez is a bad dude for sure. he hasnt had as big of a season so far as he was projected. but i just dont see Nix being into him. He makes a ton of bone head penalties and flys off the handle when other teams bait him into doing things and he obliges them by doing dumb things.
-
hes not as good as he thinks he is. might be the big probem
-
he has 11 games left on his current contract. and hes 30 and had 1 monster year and a bunch of mediocre ones. screw the 3rd. 4th round pick cause wed have to renegotiate that deal while we still have not locked down stevie. could bring some locker room issues that could be bad.
-
wouldnt mind if the price was right. nothing above a 4th round pick.
-
having orakpo wuld have changed our record for sure. maybe not 12 wins but the last juron team may have gone 8-8 ad juron wouldnt have been fired. what a scary thought
-
1 thing we should do is look at whos a senior, if they play in the SEC and if they are big for the position. i think that could be how nix looks at his draft board. hahhaha seriously tho
-
5or 6th overall pick from 2 years ago already demoted. sounds like.....may....ma.......maybin.
-
exactly what has to be changed to make Vontaze Burfict our pick?
VB is really a beast. but i dont see this staff liking a guy like him. he loses his cool so easily that other teams bait him all game and he will make 2 big plays forcing a 3rd and long then do some bone headed thing for a penalty giving up a first down. and i think hes got some off the field troubles. a little immature.
hopefully he shapes up cause he could be amazing. erickson says hes ray lewis 2.0
manti TE'o is also out there
donta hightower too

i hope dareus merriman and kyle williams go APE
-
i think kyle williams is gonna go APE. he balled last year against the chiefs i think it was 2 sacks and 9 tackles or something. and with dareus and merriman taking added pressure off of him. he could have another big time game
-
i like that they are trying new things. usually older fans tend to like the more traditional type look and what they are use to. even on twitter i noticed how much the players and younger fans loved the look.
-
not sure they wanna let byrd sit back and ball hawk. by the looks of last year to me they masked who was playing where between DW and byrd.making byrd come up to the line quite a bit. hopefully they let him sit back and hawk but i dont see them doing that. either way hopefully byrd gets another 9 int season. would be awesome
-
sounds like merriman gave you the pre game speech for the ages. If he stays healthy im with you 100%. could be a nasty front 7. i think one of the biggest beneficiaries of a healthy merriman and kyle williams and dareus will be dwan edwards... seriously tho. im not expecting him to be a pro bowler but he will look much more improved.
-
jerry hughes too? first round pick last year then cut?
-
good against the run liability in the pass?? he will fit right in! get him in here.
-
id think kyle williams is the best player
-
not tryna dump on your catch phrase. but the pats are actually pretty damn good in the snow arent they?
-
a good bit of that will probably be used to extend kyle williams and stevie johnson
-
doubt they put chris white or justin rodgers on the practice squad. they just drafted them
-
ravens had 18 injuries on the 1st day of camp
-
i just want them to bring in some proven leaders to help the young guys along. trusting late round draft picks to come in and be major role players in year 1-2 is a recipe for 4-12 again
-
i want maybin to work out just cause the bills invested quite a bit in him. watch him show some flashes this year then be decent to good next year and then hold out again for a new deal. id actually take that then him just blowing ass and taking up a spot on the roster
