  1. As a registered independent who votes like a registered Dem in the current political climate...I would like to apologize for bankrupting the country, being racist, wanting slavery and jim crow, hating jesus and his followers, and all the other wrongs I have helped further which are too many to name. Please accept my apology.
  2. http://www.thenation.com/article/170841/exclusive-lee-atwaters-infamous-1981-interview-southern-strategy You start out in 1954 by saying, “!@#$, !@#$, !@#$.” By 1968 you can’t say “!@#$”—that hurts you, backfires. So you say stuff like, uh, forced busing, states’ rights, and all that stuff, and you’re getting so abstract. Now, you’re talking about cutting taxes, and all these things you’re talking about are totally economic things and a byproduct of them is, blacks get hurt worse than whites.… “We want to cut this,” is much more abstract than even the busing thing, uh, and a hell of a lot more abstract than “!@#$, !@#$.”
  3. I'm not defending Ed but c'mon Al is way worse. His show is terrible.

  5. Ezra guest hosts a bunch of them...I know for a fact I've seen him do Maddow and Ed...not sure about the others but he seems to be the go to guy and for good reason...he probably likes where he's at though he gets to guest host fairly regularly, come on as a contributor...and then keep his gig at the post doing what he probably likes most which is tinkering with his little wonk blog articles. It's funny though that he guest hosts and shames the others...then they come back and often refer to his post articles. Oh and as for finding room there's ALL KINDS OF ROOM hehe...bump Shaprton first then Ed...leave Matthews bump O'Donnell down to 7 give Ezra the spot at 9 and kick Maddow to 10. Instantly a better line up.
  6. When Ezra guest hosts his shows are so much better than anybody who actually has a show. They need to give the man a show.
  7. He's just about the most serious man on tv. Seriously...watch his show. He could talk about peanut butter between warm toast and you would think he was talking about his wife being murdered.
  8. whoops he just had Barney on and did a 180 and endorsed him lol...WHAT ENTERTAINMENT! :/
  9. lol He's spending about 15 minutes of the show pumping himself for the Kerry's interim senate seat
  10. I would say of MSNBC they benefited from pumping the close election spin and basically following w/ Nate Silver across the commentators (with the exception of Joe...whom few acknowledge is on the channel since many conservatives don't like him and we all know liberals don't wake up until noon hehe). Also they came down brutally on Obama after the first debate. So they definitely do no hard news and it's almost entirely left leaning commentary ... but they still seemed less oblivious than Fox this last election cycle. And they don't really try to pitch themselves as fair and balanced or as hard news...their slogan is actually something about being progressive or leaning forward or something...they are what they are and they know it. But like I said...they came of looking much more biased based in reality last election cycle as opposed to fox which was sort of biased based in fantasy last year. I think I read O'Reilly lost half his audience and Hannity 1/3 after the election (which is too be expected since election drives ratings...but Hannity's drop was beyond that). That said, this is not a defense of MSNBC they are bad on the whole no doubt a left propaganda machine NO DOUBT. BUT...I don't mind Joe and don't hate Chris as much as others. Also Ezra Klein has no show but guests hosts VERY OFTEN and Ezra Klein does great shows. He's the only one on Fox or MSNBC that even tries to get into the deep and teach. They need to hook him up and make him the prominent commentator.
