  1. Bradford isn't very good so that is the main thing stopping him from being Drew Brees. Anyway, it is better than EJ or Orton for next year (even if most things would be). Was kind of hoping Cousins worked out great and something crazy landed us RGIII.
  2. Any fan arguing in favor of QBR or the traditional QB rating is a plague on the fan base. Watch them play. If they look like they are in charge and consistently make good throws moving the ball and seem to understand the defense they are against...they are good. If not, they cannot be successful over time in this league (they suck). QBR means nothing. You can fall ass backwards into a good QBR here and there. Especially as a young QB with little tape on you. With a small sample size of games for young QBs...QBR means nothing. Watch them play. This statistics stuff is one reason so many people hang on to so many losers we've had at QB for two or three years when it's obvious almost immediately.
  3. So the attitude is to expect literally nothing from EJ? No spark despite the supposed weapons?
  4. The difference is the "EJ realists" (so to speak) just want to see if there is a chance Orton is a better manager than EJ before we blow our chance to sneak in the playoffs. Even I'm not calling for EJ to be benched now. I'm just saying as soon as it makes sense...even if it is in a meltdown next week.
  5. Pretty sure NFL allows ownership of other teams so long as it isn't in a city that has an nfl team that the owner does not own. Either way he may need some cash....
  6. So is Pegula a good owner or bad owner? I thought people were complaining about him gutting the Sabres for money reasons....
  7. Bears are a weak minded team with talent. This was a fantastic win for us but for that roster (injuries or not) to put up 20 points at home on a picture perfect opening day afternoon is pathetic. Props to the Bills D they get the credit for this one in my book.
  8. Not defending Rice by any means but what did you all expect? This is basically what everyone knew happened before this was released. When the story reads: "Rice KO's wife in elevator" and nobody denies it is fact...you should hardly be shocked again when this video comes out.

  10. EJ had some damn fine plays in those NFL highights. If only the stuff that missed the cut weren't so bad and there wasn't so much of it (the bad).
  11. The team has played shockingly bad despite relatively high expectations when the team is for sale. It is two men who are already dead eating each other. It is just funny that it is only the end of preseason.
  12. When a new owner takes over it's either a bad roster or bad coaching or both. A maximum o one scenario works out for Doug--the one that most likely doesn't work out for Whaley.
  13. If Ej plays as he has for the first 3/4 games of the season let us see how good of a "leader" he is. Seriously this isn't highschool...that crap is for the birds. Make it rain or get lost. This is the NFL.
  14. Consensus: Bring in literally anybody. People were bummed we cut Palmer...bring in anybody
  15. *Spoilers* Underwood is President without winning so much as a state-wide election. That is not the Browns.
  16. Not sure if I understand this post but if it means to say that there is no doubt Tuel is worse than EJ than it's not something I agree with. Ej should be better but he's BARELY better with 100X the support/chance.
  17. 4 pick-sixes in a row and I have to admit, I would be happy if we grabbed him. Last year was a meltdown for Shaub but we're desperate. Also, Rex Grossman. If we somehow grabbed either of them I would want either to start asap to avoid wasting the season.
  18. Dysfunction at its finest. Whaley blessed the EJ pick (even if he didn't have to own in completely), and here we are...2nd year in a row without a single QB that can take a snap on the roster. Can't wait to get a new owner, GM, and coach at the end of this year.
  19. I have got to be one of the biggest EJ hater on the board, and I know I was he first to call him a complete disaster (the moment we drafted him and every day after). That said, even I recognize you have to stop fixating on it at some point. It is what it is, and this season is something I still plan on enjoying.
  20. We look like we might suck terribly this year. Sign his ass--he can help us. He won't bully again, even Richie isn't that stupid.
  21. http://thehill.com/policy/defense/215549-reports-isis-beheads-american-journalist ISIS releasing beheading videos of American journalists.
  22. I love Kiko but he was a liability in the run last year and part of the reason we got run on. He was swallowed up quite frequently when we played teams with decent lineman.
  23. Falling: Urbik - see above EJ - see the games CJ - Looks like last year...not necessarily that CJ is bad but it is just clear that Fred is still better (somehow). Yet to break one and looks below average when there isn't huge holes. Great catching the ball in the flat and getting 10 out of what most players would get 3 out of though. We need to use him as full time slasher IMO he should catch more than half his touches. Gilmore - He's still the best guy we have but he's nothing to write home about--at least not to date. He's just a guy who looks like he's going to get absolutely burned periodically for his entire career. Still mostly good..but he plays it close to the vest and has continued to give up big plays this preseason (last week, 2 this week). Thad Lewis - IMO he's better the Tuel, and equal to EJ. Not saying much, but it is a rise for him. All three are terrible. Searcy - Not impressed. IMO the Antonio Brown TD last week was equally on him as it was the guys underneath. Bad angle and absolutely roasted. That said, Brown is fantastic. Rising TJ - see above. Still might not make the team though. Looked good returning last night, imo. One cut then north-south w/ the speed...he's capable of returning punts all year if we keep him. Hogan - I saw someone knock him as falling above, b/c Woods is getting his full reps now. He's not going to start, but IMO he's def. on track to make the team. I thought for sure he would be cut this year. Still may be cut, but in true Hogan style he's making it tough. Easley - Depends on special teams to make the team, and he blocked a punt. Good job Easley. **Note: I have not seen the Carolina game yet, or watched any replays (where I usually catch defensive stuff).**
  24. He's a big, aggressive, solid CB that is absolutely good enough to start on this team. He's not a top corner in the league though, far from it. That said, we'll have to complain about something other than Gilmore given the state of the Bills. If we lose a game or two b/c of Gilmore...there really is nothing we can do or say about it. There aren't 2 other CBs on the team who are any better.
