  1. How can and TBD poster not understand how effed this move is? Yes, it is like a death
  2. Decade + w/ no qb? Now we have a few guys who look ok in preseason, better trade one!
  3. No way we don't go 19-0. It's a lock.
  4. Cassel pretty much put a sleeper hold on the game. zzzzzz EJ needed more snaps. Put Tyrod out there already.
  5. Is Charles Clay out there today? Also, Sammy, Percy, and Woods confirmed scratches?
  6. I don't think who starts at QB will affect the crowd much, at least not unless they start sucking.
  7. I get all the reasons why it is the way it is, but I agree with you on this one. It could be done. Probably won't be a normal thing to do anytime soon, but a team could do it right now and possibly be better than if they didn't do it.
  8. I'm actually somewhat interested to see EJ take a few snaps w/ the 1s now that we have other options and he's avoided a meltdown for 2 preseason games going against 3s.
  9. Injuries are really hurting us and I agree--it's' negative. It's also frustrating, with all 3 WRs injured right now I can't tell if it's caution to make sure they're ready or if it'll bleed over. Same with Karlos and Shady. It bothers me Kyle may be hobbled. It all bothers me. We have a chance to start really strong by maybe stealing the opener against Indy by virtue of being at home w/ energy and new roster and looks...then we play a Bradyless Pats at home. Then it's on the road to a competitive Dolphins team that could very well beat us in that spot at their home. A huge part of the ideal path to prosperity this year is to steal 2 quick games against the toughest opponents on the schedule. You have to assume a split w/ the Pats at best, and a likely split with the Dolphins. You also have to assume a tight divisional race. So the first Pats game and the Indy game as a conference tie-breaker are huge. We steal those, we look damn good even if we drop a tough on @Mia week 3. If we show up banged up from the start and average at best at QB (which you have to assume re: qb)--could make the entire season an uphill climb w/ no room for error.
  10. We can't give up on the memory of EJ actually playing QB for us b/c his fan boys won't give up making excuses for him/lobbying for him--inexplicably--despite us having Tyrod (and Cassel).
  11. Watt is great but his performance on that day was fueled by EJ. The INT was nice that Watt finished but it was an unforgivable throw.
  12. EJ was so bad in those 2 games our WRs body language showed it openly...it can't be debated. Make excuses for him if you like, but EJ was BAD (not just rookie bad)--no fandom can erase that.
  13. EJ was 2-2, but played so bad he was basically responsible for loses in week 3 and 4. One good thing Marrone did was have the balls to cut the cord on EJ, for the franchise, immediately and not let the train wreck waste more years ....
  14. It may well be time to part ways with Easley, despite his special teams ability.
  15. Alright, how about we use Tyrod until we get to the redzone, then use EJ. Late in games when we are up a lot we bring in Cassell to close. Fair enough?
  16. I'm one of the most passionate EJ haters and have been from the day we went nuts and traded up to draft him in round 1. Even I will admit it's possible he could be a better #2 than Cassel.
  17. Nice finish but he hasn't earned anything more than he has been given.
  18. If I cancel how will I watch Tyrod next week though?
  19. Rex is perfect for us. He might be our coach for 10+ years...
  20. I agree. He's good but not yet an island. We shouldn't treat him like one in regular season
  21. I really don't know why everyone is so concerned about him running first. He isn't Johnny football he looks like prime Vick running. I say run all day. When the defense commits spies and overt pursues Percy or Sammy will wreck havoc
  22. Cassel looked fine. Tyrod looked better. EJ did not look that good to me but hit some throws including a great deep ball TD. No reason we shouldn't go into the season with all 3. I'm came away from this game more positive about all three of our qbs.
