  1. It was also never a discrimination incident. It was a stupid incident. But somehow nobody can tell the difference anymore.
  2. IMO presidential candidates going to Scalia's funeral would be a mistake. It would (further) highlight how everyone is looking for the best angle they can take off his fresh corpse...
  3. Everything about this situation proves that America has completely lost its mind.
  4. High time this city cease worshiping the players/teams/memories of years past.
  5. Agreed and we'll be fine. The one "big flash" that would be great is if we could somehow grab Alshon Jeffery ... but that's a pipe dream anyway (Bears will tag or resign him, if not someone else will get him before we will)....but damn to pair him with Sammy would complete the final pieces of our skill players.
  6. High paid RBs are a luxury. Usually if you have one (especially if you have a really elite/expensive one) it's b/c you are not burdened by such things as nice lineman, qbs, and other players of exceptional talent. This doesn't mean the team isn't still better off w/ the good RB (to say otherwise assumes the team can simply sign good players off the street).
  7. Mario may have one more 10ish sack season but not more than that (if even that). Rex def. ruined what could have been a great year for our defensive front but it wasn't going to last forever for Mario.
  8. That was actually and unbelievably good attack rant by Christie. Probably the most effective little bit I've heard him do throughout the entire race. EDIT: Jeb has got to love this.
  9. Magnetized coins provided by Clinton, obviously. It's math.
  10. Necessary grab for him but I think the big story will be Rubio and how he surged by stealing Trump votes. Rubio v. Trump probably set to heat up from here on out. I think Cruz will fizzle out just as the primaries meander through states that aren't Iowa.
  11. Trump will paint Rubio as a broke kid in a suit w/ a smile--aka, the picture of a for-sale-politician he would typically buy. Probably won't work either. Rubio is running strong here. Also, Rubio is helping Cruz a lot.
  12. BTW check this it out, I thought it was funnier than it had a right to be:
  13. Everyone will be surprised if Trump loses. On the other hand, I just don't see Bernie's campaign producing at all. It's been a nice little side story for the far left and generated some loud mouth enthusiasts but I don't believe large numbers of people will actually turn out and vote for this guy--even in a primary. It'll be Trump/Clinton. I feel pretty confident in that too. But who knows I suppose it is possible that there's something I'm missing/don't get about the Sanders campaign, but I'm pretty sure the headline is that even most registered democrats won't show up to vote for him.
  14. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000629113/article/rosters-set-for-2016-pro-bowl TEAM RICE Captain: WR Odell Beckham (Giants) Captain: DT Aaron Donald (Rams) 1. QB Eli Manning (Giants) 2. DE Khalil Mack (Raiders) 3. WR Jarvis Landry (Dolphins) 4. QB Derek Carr (Raiders) 5. WR Amari Cooper (Raiders) 6. CB Marcus Peters (Chiefs) 7. RB Adrian Peterson (Vikings) 8. OLB Tamba Hali (Chiefs) 9. DE Everson Griffen (Vikings) 10. CB Vontae Davis (Colts) 11. WR T.Y. Hilton (Colts) TEAM IRVIN Captain: RB Devonta Freeman (Falcons) Captain: DT Geno Atkins (Bengals) 1. QB Russell Wilson (Seahawks) 2. WR Julio Jones (Falcons) 3. CB Richard Sherman (Seahawks) 4. DE Ezekiel Ansah (Lions) 5. DE Michael Bennett (Seahawks) 6. WR A.J. Green (Bengals) 7. WR DeAndre Hopkins (Texans) 8. RB Todd Gurley (Rams) 9. OLB Anthony Barr (Vikings) 10. CB Desmond Trufant (Falcons) 11. WR Allen Robinson (Jaguars) Just bad drafting. Jarvins Landry #3 overall is crazy.
  15. Trump is taking a pounding (but enduring still somehow). O'Reilly just did the most insanely awkward interview ever with him. Pulled the christian-forgiveness card on him while begging for a solid 15 minutes on behalf of Fox for him to show up. Trump refused, and said O'Reilly agreed not to beg him to do it. O'Reilly then said it was true he agreed not to do it, but did it anyway. It was almost like a cheesy WEE event or something. Weird.
  16. Give him 350K per game where he takes at least 20 snaps. Give him 150K per game where he doesn't.
  17. If the price is right you don't have to move on from Percy, just plan to have another wr2 in the mix as well (not woods). Goodwin on the other hand...you definitely can't keep both that's for sure. It's not just that Percy gets hurt, it's that Sammy and Goodwin also constantly get hurt. That put us out 3 WRs at times and 2 WRs regularly.
  18. Percy is a huge asset. He's unreliable so he obviously shouldn't be relied on when putting together the starting line up for roster-building purposes...but to keep him on the team at something affordable and use him when you can (always starting if healthy) is huge for this team. He's a boost/plus/extra sauce.
  19. "What coach!? Why did you take me out?!!" "......you know what you did"
  20. I wish Tyrod was confident/entitled enough to throw tantrums and our WRs would push off and get away with it more often...
  21. So Derrick Henry could go as late as the 4th...hard to say he wouldn't be a damn good 4th round pick as security for Shady/Karlos. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if he shows up at the combine 10lbs lighter, kills the 40, and is then taken in round 2.
  22. To the extent it means anything it means he's going to fire some people pretty soon and bring in guys he can brainwash (for better or worse) to play Rex ball.
  23. Of course, it's the biggest factor. Obviously, we've sucked. But with Brady in there it's almost always been wildcard or bust. No years in our division where you can randomly make it as a division winner with 9, 8, or even 7 (on a rare occasion) wins.
