  1. His point is that it has everything to do with talent on the rest of the roster b/c we wouldn't be able to go as hard at the rest of the roster if we carried a big QB contract. We've paid over value at a lot of positions and it's fine b/c we can...if we had Brees it would be different.
  2. He's the perfect real world example to prove what is obvious. Voters, even Republican primary voters, could care less about ideology. It's a beauty show plain and simple.
  3. IRRC, one of Kyle's best seasons was nose tackle under Pettine
  4. Throw a few scrimmage jamborees and televise those. Hold them in non-NFL cities, and advertise that it is guys making the team and not starters.
  5. If you don't have a franchise QB you damn well better be aggressive with the cap. I'm surprised so many Bills fans are so willing to look differently at moves they once liked and moves that did help us (even if we didn't make the playoffs).
  6. http://screengrabber.deadspin.com/defensive-lineman-crashes-out-of-nfl-combine-40-yard-da-1761792055 Why do they force these guys to wear a near-thong when doing this stuff?
  7. Braxton Miller could be a pretty good 3rd round pick for us.
  8. Well yes, Democratic primary truly is window dressing it was always Hillary. Also, President is Hillary for sure at this point and was always a prime possibility. So in many ways, it is more predictable than some other (relatively) recent races. But my comment stands based on what has happened on the GOP side. The party has completely fallen apart. I'm registered Repub and generally want some good candidates and a good climate from that party...but it's just not even possible anymore. It's dead until some hero brings it back (not this year).
  9. Of all years to say this, this is not the one.
  10. Trump really pushing the branding of Rubio as a choke artist in post-debate interview
  11. That insane 3 way volley just made the party look as bad as it has looked all season...which is saying something.
  12. IMO Kasich is the only candidate that could win the Presidency if the party fully supported him...Hilary would roll Cruz, beat Trump, and bigfoot Rubio. Kasich (even if today's polls don't show it) would be a powerful counter to Hilary is a future world where a default 45% of the country was talking him up.
  13. Rubio is basically saying: "Hey! I remembered more things than Trump, he's got 5 I've got more than 20! I win!"
  14. Rubio is hitting Trump hard on the insurance details.
  15. Let me clarify: in a GOP debate you are caught with your pants down as soft on low-wage undocumented Hispanic workers today. You are not effectively bruised in a debate by an attack about hiring some Polish people 38 years ago.
  16. Rubio and Cruz opened by hammering Trump has hard as he has been...and yet Trump arguably won the exchange with both at the same time. This 38 year old Polish worker scandal is weak.
  17. Down to 5 so this should be a little different than what we've had.
  18. Couldn't agree more (but for the Goodwin plug....we should cut him). Hogan is valuable depth for a WR squad that was flashy but glass. Depending on you rating of Robert Woods our top 3 or 4 WRs are objectively injury prone. Ideally Hogan never plays..but if he just want to be in the league and work hard we are a good place for him IMO.
  19. i.e., we conjured 3 or 4 defensive needs out of thin air by hiring Ryan (while somehow not adding anything to offense or special teams either)
  20. Alshon Jeffrey? Probably too expensive but a more durable, larger-sized, more play-making capable WR2 aside Sammy is the final piece (other than a truly locked in QB of course).
  21. Tyrod doesn't even run that much. When he does it's awesome and works well..but it isn't a routine/predictable part of our strategy. Pretty much any QB that isn't a statue (which few are these days) can take the same exact snaps as Tyrod IMO.
