  1. Yes of course they can. They were injured beyond the point of reason last year. If the offense stays healthy and doesn't put the defense in a tough spot we'll be better.
  2. If memory serves, Cam went out there and threw for 400+ yards, 3 TDs, ran all over the place, and generally lit the world on fire.
  3. The bottom line is that if we lose to Ravens it means something, another .500 season. Ravens suck. Good teams will beat the Ravens this year. Are we a good team? Tune in, 1pm CBS next Sunday.
  4. I would love it if we signed this guy. If Wood had him and Incognito by his side, they would form a pretty good core IMO.
  5. I can see a possible loss to the Jets putting us at 2-2 but I don't see us losing to Pats. They're not Gods, it's going to be real rough on them to start the season they're just missing too much. Agree that Arizona will be too much to handle in week 3. Don't see us losing to the Ravens under any circumstance.
  6. Bills open on the road against the .500 talent Ravens group that may well finish in the bottom 1/3rd of the league. Bills take the game with the defense playing better and the offense rushing for 150+ yards. Then the Jets come to town 4 days later. Bills win in very competitive nail-bitter. The 2-0 Cardinals then come into town hot and hand the Bills their first loss of the season. Bills travel to Boston and beat a Brady-less, Dion Lewis-less Pats team that has only 1 win 4 weeks into the season. Meanwhile, elsewhere in the division, the Dolphins have beaten the Browns and Pats but lost their opener on the road at Seattle as well as a road trip to Cinci. What do you think? Probable? This would put us at 3-1 with head-to-head wins over Pats and Jets. With the first quarter of the season under our belt, we are leading the division and are 1 game ahead of the Jets and Dolphins and 2 games ahead of the Pats.
  7. Bosa loses, and both sides are idiots. Bosa should sign. Chargers should trade him as soon as they can get a great deal for him.
  8. EJ still has to prove he is what a back-up is...he has not done that yet. Back-ups don't lose the game for you ... EJ does.
  9. If we don't get hurt and penalized to the extent it ruins our season we should be able to make the playoffs. We will almost certainly be hurt and penalized ....
  10. Just think about it. Sammy Watkins - We know what Sammy Watkins means. Robert Woods - A HEALTHY Robert Woods working out of the slot with these players around him is a viable threat anyway you look at it. Charles Clay - Clay is not Gronk, but Clay is going to give us more in the future if Tyrod grows. Clay can and will be better for us that he was last year, and he wasn't bad last year. Marq Goodwin - Super fast and, if healthy for an extended period of time, pretty dangerous. The safeties have to respect the speed if Tyrod can make the throw, they have to. So the Anquan Boldin comment above makes no sense, it's not about who they are most concerned about it's about where they can line up. This line means they have to go 2 deep and leave the middle open for Clay and Woods, or slide one way or the other leaving Watkins or Goodwin able to fly down the side...of course then the corners back off and the hitch stuff opens up etc. It's a pretty damn good WR crew compared to almost any WR crew I can remember us having in recent memory. And it's better than most teams in the league.
  11. They're out there. ODB, Deshawn Jackson, Julio Jones, Travis Benjamin...there are some guys who are speed guys that produce and burn the defense deep. Of course, there's also the Heyward-Bays and Ted Ginns of the world.
  12. Great news! Being a rookie and missing camp and not being able to practice definitely means we can't expect any real value this year...but coming back for the second half is huge for his development.
  13. Goodwin is good enough to play in the league. More than I can say about any of other WRs besides Sammy and Woods.
  14. We're somehow hurt already and we haven't even played a preseason game yet. Optimism low. I do believe that if we could keep injuries to important starters on the low end of the league average we could make the playoffs with Rex/current roster. But we all know we don't have any wiggle room (**** the Patriots) and we have a bunch of glass players.
  15. As I understand it we traded Stevie, got a 4th, which, one year later, we traded for Bryce Brown, who played one season for us, with the following stats: SEASON TEAM GP ATT YDS AVG LNG TD FD FUM LST 2014 BUF 7 36 126 3.5 14 0 6 1 1 I don't recall what the cap situation was under the scenario where he stayed, but we might as well have kept him around a while longer. He is of no use to us in 2016 IMO. No and No. That is my vote.
  16. My result: I read it as man (b/c I didn't pay attention to motion and don't know how to play QB), and then decided I would force to Sammy pretty much no matter what. It's hard to predict what the results of this terrible QB play I had going on in my mind would have been since the left CB was reading Tyrod's eyes and dropping deep, but I bet I still would have completed the pass for equal if not more yards. Moral of the story: throw to Sammy
