    Makes sense. You aren't out running NFL defenses for a living. May pop a big play every now and then with super speed, especially if you are already in a top offense (like KC last year), but the majority of these guys are pounding away and missed tackles moves the chains.

    With the Oline situation we probably will play well in the second half of the first 2 games. Experienced guys blocking nobodies and our fancy new RB feasting.

    Yup. Want to like the pick b/c he has some great qualities but he's too early and we have a ton of RBs. Bad pick bottom line. Team management at RB has been a disaster under Bean's first few years, worst position by far.

    Not a 3rd down back look to me at all. Looks like a little bowling bowl with strong base that is quick w/ jump cuts and getting down field. If I'm optimistic him and TJ (who will do our 3rd down bits) are decent combo year after next for us.

    IDK much about him but he's an OT and he's big and nasty.

    Universal praise. We got lucky he dropped. He fills a big need. He's going way lower than he probably should. It's backed by performance over several years and not just combine or physical measurements. It seems to be a personality fit. It's fantastic.

    ESPN article published today clarifies that AB would have happily come to Buffalo if he got a redo on contract like what Oakland gave ... so it fell through due to Bean not being willing to tear up the existing contract.

    Incoming Pats trade for a 3rd and contingent 4th they won't ever get.

    LOL. It was never entirely clear what the coaches were letting him do vs. what he just did ... but yes the single best thing about him (other than his running success) is that he let it rip--for better or worse.

    I just want to obnoxiously remind people that most of the board did not like the pick and I was telling everyone he would be good. Conversely, most of the board was fine and supported EJ from the start while I sounded the alarm the moment we drafted him knowing it was a disaster. Moral of the story, listen to me on QBs you jokers.
