We really need to get some OL play and pass catching targets so we can figure out if these guys are any good. Going to be tough to even evluate.

We need to punt it really far b/c we'll go 3 and out all the time...apparently this kid can boom it. Placement is great for an offense that moves the ball...but we just need to kick it 70 yards downfield.

At this rate we're 1 year away from just picking him up off the street...if we wanted him.

I think we need to keep all 3 QBs. They all suck so you will still need to mix and match as the season goes on and if 1 gets hurt (which is highly likely given our line) you will want 3rd. Would be really stupid to cut one of these QBs.

IMO Allen's escapability, arm strength, and size/durability make him our best option. It's kind of weird given that he's a rookie and yet the edge goes to him b/c the line and weapons suck...but he is the one w/ the tools to compensate. Of course, he'll be a turnover machine but at least there's a chance to make some bigger plays to move the ball and score. If our offense were in better shape I would give the edge to Nate instead, but it isn't. IMO, we should scrap the playbook and go out there and run the read option w/ McCoy and Allen and try to hit some crossing routes and deep shots if it works to move the ball on the ground. We should basically run Urban Myer's Tebow offense.

Time to stack OL & DL aggressively in both draft and FA. We can turn those units around in 1 offseason if we commit w/ the money we have next year. We do need a WR though...so try to grab 1 somewhere...

Those guys make the team and play. Not that they are great, but they are not far off from starting for us. I have little doubt Allen would have done better this first half. At minimum, he would run around.

Ladies and gentleman, AJ was out there w/ 2 1st string WRs and O'Leary (who can play) again the Bears nobodies and threw a pick 6 leading us to a 13-0 deficit. He deserves to be cut. Peterman 1. Allen 2.

Agreed. Just win baby. A little thought exercise--imagine we win the Superbowl. Feels good. What a rush. Then what? Then nothing. Your life won't change. Nothing magical happens. Ultimately, the key to this whole football fan thing is enjoying Sundays as much as possible. No point in pissing a single Sunday down the drain.

Allen will be our #3 in the regular season so he should just play all of it and get experience.

Beane deconstructed the roster last year and is still in cap purgatory this year. I expect 2 more offseasons and 3 more seasons before his vision is realized.

As bad as we are the Ravens, Chargers, Packers, Titans, Texans, and Colts are capable for playing terrible any given Sunday. Not to say we'll beat those teams...but they're not that good. Pats and Vikings will obviously roll us....Texans and Packers probably will too.

Could be a real rough start and a down season but not 0-8. Never underestimate that other teams suck (even when they should be good) also...if only for one Sunday.
