I say the TV needs to stop advertising this game as if I care. Sick of people acting like Michigan v. Ohio State is game that matters above other similar rivalries between big schools just b/c ABC apparently needs to make enough on this one game to justify holding the entire Big 10 portfolio.

We should trade back or grab one of those DTs. Also, we should avoid winning any more games.

If Zay pans out, McD's first two drafts are awesome

I mean, starting on the Bills isn't necessarily the greatest indicator but it could be worse. -
RIP to the most consistent Bills QB of all time.

Is No. 1 Ranking Legit or a Mirage?
dayman replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Legit signal we're doing something right, a bit over-inflated b/c of the foot of the gas factor. -
Yup, with Matt Barkley and Foster we are unbeatable.

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-trade-market-29-candidates-to-be-moved-before-deadline-now-that-amari-cooper-is-off-the-board/ ^Link to various guys that are available^ Emmanuel Sanders is a very good player. Would lovely to get him somehow. No idea what he would cost. RGIII plays QB and shouldn't be terribly expensive. Would also be nice to make a run at Foles but Eagles probably still want a lot for him. Cedric Ogbuehi plays tackle, I would like a tackle. Shouldn't be insane expensive. Patrick Peterson at CB also quite dreamy. On our end, count me among those that say we should move Shady and Kelvin. Kelvin is worth whatever we can get, and Shady is a good player but the timing just isn't there w/ his age and our need to rebuild. I would also try to move Shaq as part of a package if possible. Would be lovely if we could somehow move Shady and 2nd for Foles or maybe Shady for RGIII straight up. I would take a 5 for Kelvin (assuming we could remotely get that) and give a very high pick for Peterson. Lots of nonsense. I'm sure nothing good will come of this but we have made moves (even if just a fire sale). This is the one area where you do miss Doug Whaley b/c he was good at scraping the bottom of the barrel for guys at the trade deadline.

Mark my words, we will win 6 or 7 games. We always do.

He's playing the best we got... -
Agreed generally, take an offensive guy.

A Few Thoughts about the Colts game, in no particular order

I would. -
I made a good chunk of cash today...just look disappointed and pretend to give a ***** and I'll be back in Arizona w/ my family soon enough w/ enough for 2 second homes.

I agree, but at the same time it's understandable why he is frustraited given that he probably is somewhere between 20-32nd best QB in the world which suggests he should start. As we all know, bottom 1/3rd is not acceptable and teams will look to start worse/unproven guys hoping to get into the top 1/3rd ... but I can't fault him for feeling like he should start when a bunch of guys worse then him have secure starting gigs.

Imagine if the bills didn't sign Anderson last week

Anderson "takes this ***** seriously." At least someone on the Bills team does. -
Offensive woes - how we got here and where to go from here
dayman replied to KingBoots8's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Firing Daboll won't do anything. We have bad talent everywhere and the worst of all is QB position. Josh may develop but it doesn't look good early on (I know, I know...it wasn't supposed to for him yada yada). OL was unfortunate. WR was front office's fault for not addressing. QB is unforgivable lack of planning by front office and a likely miss on Josh w/ a cost of 2 1sts. I'm ready to tank at this point. Get the #1 and trade back. -
Anyone else thing we should do more designed QB runs/options? We certainly don't have an amazing line or receiving targets but we have a big and fast QB and Shady. Seems to me best bet to create offense this year is get Allen carrying the ball 5 to 10 times a game on purpose. Free up some space down field when we do pass and give Shady a little breathing room to make that first cut he's so good at with the threat of Allen keeping it.

Why does Allen always try to spin to his blindside?
dayman replied to BigDingus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Allen can see his front side, so he knows it's terrible. He figures, at least if he spins to his blindside, he isn't absolutely certain it's terrible over there as well on that particular play. -
Allen is a budding superstar

Another half to play today but that 1st half was beyond normal rookie stuff he looked like he didn't know what to do. -

Well Allen's first half was about as ugly as it could possibly be...looked terrible even for a rookie. Wasn't handling pressure well, wasn't accurate, and made bad decisions. -
