Let's be honest, Josh probably has 5 good seasons left

I don’t think Josh is going to become particularly cerebral -
The Eagles beat the Chiefs by doing the opposite of the Bills
dayman replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the answer is that the majority of defensive players on the eagles are just way better than our guys We really don’t have that many good players on that side of the ball it’s a lot of average and some below average…with Elam obviously being straight up bad -
I had no idea he was coach if the year

Thanks for the biggest blowouts in playoff history. …. Just joking. Love you Micah

I think it’s totally fair to expect Josh to be all-world always and consider him to blame (in part) for losses when he isn’t—he is that good and is supposed to be that for our team. You can both do that and also acknowledge at the same time he’s still great even when he turns in a merely good or average game on any given week. With that said, to the topic, how is he supposed to look! lol it doesn’t matter how he looks.

He’s good with LBs

What was that about? Anyone ever answer for why this was an issue all the sudden?

Bills have been one of the most liked teams for years. My guess is at some point (probably now) that will wear off due to the consistent failure

Best Bills team we’ve had since the SB days and we should not forget how horrible we were before these guys. Happy to have them forever. BUT—let’s not pretend that both sides of the ball don’t get outclassed coaching-wise when we play KC in the playoffs every time. This last game was actually the worst. Offense had no wrinkles and KC was totally prepared to take away what we do best. Sneak was gone. Blitzes all worked. We ran it a little and hit a few deep passes so there’s that but for the most part we didn’t have a great day. Did put together some drives and 29 points so I’m not saying disaster but everything was tough and we were lucky to get as much on the board as we did. Defensively we were lucky to hold them to what we did. Everything was easy. Can’t put it on the pass rush either Patrick had a 1-second read open every time—often wide open with YAC on top. Completely worked. Season high points and 1st downs for them. Couldn’t get stops, especially not early. Thank God for fumble and great individual effort by Phillips at the end. If we’re going to be good at something with our small nickel/dime defense it should be not getting picked apart and we got roasted. Bottom line the defensive gameplan was horrible and we had no shot. Offensive gameplan wasn’t as bad but it wasn’t a big game kitchen sink plan and we needed that, at least in retrospect.

I just don’t get the “good enough” comments. I’m not trolling. Seriously confused. He would not say he was good enough. You beat the Chiefs by nailing the coffin in the final minutes. He didn’t. And yes, he misread that last play despite the drop he had Shakir instead he rolled into the pressure and chucked it.

Hard to beat the Chiefs and the refs every post-season

Every spot was against us -
Defense needs an overhaul. We need playmakers in the passing game. God help me if Elam is rostered again. Hamlin should go. Defensive line is soft.

He wasn’t and yet we still had the ball with 3 minutes for the hero drive we’ve seen so many QBs make against us…couldn’t get it done. At some point losing these games is just who we are…

This board can’t see it. We all love Josh. But some of us see this.
-
You realize we pay Josh all the money right?

He’s great. He’s been great in the playoffs. He wasn’t tonight. Started shaky as hell. Couldn’t run all night. Couldn’t sneak. Couldn’t get it downfield (except Hollins a few times…good on Hollins). Ran right into that blitz he didn’t see to end the game and left Shakir open for what may have been a winner. Love Josh. But let’s just call it what it was—choke job tonight. If he was great we go to the superbowl. He was far from great.

Former and current players reflect on JA’s leadership

Let’s rub our fat bellies all over Mahomes this week -
I hear this a lot this week, in particular, as the football world focuses on our game. It’s usally said as a positive. But the question is—when will everyone (including us) just acknowledge that Khalil Shakir is our number 1 and a legit number 1? He’s no Megatron and we spread the ball but I think he’s good enough for us, and good enough period, that this should be considered an insult to him.

Is this Ravens game reminiscent of Buffalo/KC in 1991?
dayman replied to JaCrispy's topic in The Stadium Wall
Unlikely we blow the Ravens out. -
He’ll never said he doesn’t also, we just needed another stop that TO wasn’t the difference we were not going to get it back idk what game people were watching to complain about that we weren’t stopping them
