So, we haven't even been close to making the playoffs for several years now. Close meaning, there are a few games left in the season that control whether we make the playoffs. We have had 4-6 wins for the 4th straight season. I think it's going to take at least 3 more years until we see the playoffs, what do you guys think?

We can't beat and won't beat the Saints or Steelers next year, especially with SP back. And we won't have a good football team either

Bills fan is much worse, Detroit at least lost enough games to get a franchise QB. We maintain the 7-13th picks so we can never get anyone good

So I was talking with one of my friends. He said with either a new coach or QB we would have been in the playoff race this year. If we had both, it would have been a playoff lock. I agree with him completely. Which games do you guys think we would have won if we had either: 1. NYJ 28-48 LOSS 2. KC 35-17 WIN 3. Cleveland 24-14 WIN 4. NE 28-52 LOSS 5. SF 3-45 LOSS 6. Arizona OT 19-16 WIN 7. Tennessee 34-35 LOSS 8. Houston 9-21 LOSS 9. NE 31-37 LOSS 10. Miami 19-14 WIN 11. Indianapolis 13-20 LOSS 12. JAX 34-18 WIN 13. STL 12-15 LOSS 14. Seattle 17-50 LOSS Record: 5-9 If we had 1 of QB or coach, we would have beat STL and Tennesee for sure. We might have been able to get another win and we'd be at 7-7 or 8-6 right now. What say you?

We need depth, that has been our problem in years past. This year, the injury bug hasn't taken a huge toll on us; I think the main problem is coaching in QB. I think if we had either a new QB or new coach we would be in the playoff race right now. But that means Nix needs to sack up and resign a lot of these guys.

Let me clarify, smartass. He meant that we should not be talking about playoffs or being a playoff caliber team until we no longer have a losing schedule. If you've been keeping up with this board, people have been discussing that we could still reach the playoffs. Have a good day.
