After watching Bell get dismantled yesterday, you ought to rethink that. Bills fans have cried and cried for a decade about how all they want is a left tackle. Finally make a star out of a tight end and can't wait to run him out of town because he wanted tackle money. Oops.

The Bills have squandered their chance at drafting Andrew Luck, should he declare. There has not been a quarterback prospect in recent history that literally EVERY team in the NFL would draft if selecting #1 regardless of need or their current QB situation. Yes, he is that highly regarded. No, we don't have a shot at him. Yes, you take him, even if you already have a Romo or a Palmer or a Claussen or a Vick or a Fitzgibbons.

So tired of "Dope" and the "Lapdog" on WGR 550 making

I like them. I feel that they represent the non-Eternally-Optimistic (7-9 here we come!) Bills fans and their point of view quite often. You might feel that being down on your team and criticizing them invalidates your "fanhood" but many others disagree. Also, the way they handle the quality of the average caller to talk radio shows amuses me. Different strokes for different folks I guess. Suspecting that those who strongly oppose them would love a Chris Brown hosted pro-Bills show. I wouldn't really. -
Kyle Williams .... this guy needs a nickname

Most of these are cheesers but Tugboat is epic. Tugboat by a landslide for so many reasons. -
I R getting fat too. It's winter though, just prepping for hibernation. Don't hate.

LOL Bills fans. You have a guy that is among the league leaders in SOMETHING and you are so eager to run him out of town. Meanwhile, there are at least a half dozen players on defense that wouldn't DREAM of sniffing the field on a decent team. Way to get to the root of our problems. We now return you to the parade of haters.

The fact that our coaching staff was unable to spot this glaringly obvious 100% certain challenge is pretty discouraging. Not to mention the fact that we could have challenged the absolutely certain "down by contact" and gotten a free look at reviewing whether the catch was completed. Turns out he did cleanly make that catch, but it wasn't a sure thing, and challenging the down by contact ruling would have free-rolled us a chance to keep the ball. It's easy to second guess, but man, even putting them back to the 1 would have been an absolutely great outcome with zero risk of losing a time out.

Not saying this is entirely the case here, but the "the ball hit him in the hand, he should have caught it" thing is a bit of a misnomer. A 6' tall receivers hands are able to reach a big long way in every direction, and just because you put the ball within that 100 cu. ft. area doesn't mean the pass was accurate. Yes, he could have caught that pass. Yes, the pass could also have been put in a much better spot as to make the catch much more certain. Fitzpatrick has played well enough to lead this team out of the cellar and back to 7-9 territory. People still rightly wonder if this statistical outlier of a season is much more than that. Only time will tell. Spritzer is on helluva leader, but don't forget that it is possible to be both a great leader and a great, accurate passer. We don't need to settle for just one or the other - that's how you end up with J.P. Losman types.

Who cares? Do you really think that the different uniforms have magic powers that aid in victory? Newsflash: The Bills haven't really won many games in any uniform lately. The throwbacks are clearly the Bills best uniforms. The costume change to their current uniforms was a merchandising cash-grab, and was a step in the wrong direction.

Wow. OP = Dean of Clown College.

Ummmm. You might want to include some context if you're looking to settle some kind of debate.

If you can't tell the difference between a relatively modest end zone celebration and a business rival calling you up when they beat you on a sale, I don't know how to help you. Even spiking the ball is far more aggressive and 'gloatey', so I guess you must be surprised there isn't physical violence after every touchdown. There is a difference between celebrating and showing up your opponent. Sheesh.

Oh yeah. Don't want things to get too heated during this much-anticipated battle with championship aspirations on the line. *eyeroll*

Jets ripped off the Bills shout song celebration
akm0404 replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hahahahahahaha. Only a Bills fan could actually believe that. The Bills are pretty much as good as the undefeated Patriots team, if only they lost all of their games and somehow we won all of ours -
Man, do I #@$%ing HATE the NFL!!!!!!
akm0404 replied to High Mark's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That is pretty weak, but all tickets purchased for NFL games during flex scheduling have the caveat that times may change. Doesn't make you any less screwed, but that will be their stance - don't make firm travel plans for games during the flex scheduling period. Sorry to hear it tho - but Tampa is gorgeous this time of year. Hit up Berns Steakhouse instead and travel to beef heaven. -
Current uniforms are a trainwreck. They don't feature the teams actual colors, which is a bit strange. Fix the font and those 'fake' ones are already a million times better than the trash we roll out now. Especially those shockingly bad away uniforms.

Holy crap, this message board is full of bigots. This is literally the most shocking thread I've ever seen here. I get that Buffalo has a white-trash dumb "blue collar" reputation, but I'm still surprised to see so many people here condoning this. Wow. A thousand lols to all of the "PC Police" people here acting as if using hate-filled speech is something to proudly protect. You all sound like a bunch of Neanderthals, and I hope that someday you'll look back at this and feel pretty ashamed when bashing homosexuals is inevitably looked back upon in the same light that bashing other minority groups has become. Absolutely disgusting how people who post about how mediocre Ryan Fitzpatrick is get crucified, but the bigots are propped up and defended en masse. Wish I never opened this thread.

He looks to possess all of the traits you want to see in a QB. Watch him play instead of relying on what other people tell you to think. Your eyes won't lie. But, if you insist on listening to the pundits, they all seem to agree too.

Why can't Fitz be the face of the franchise?
akm0404 replied to FightinIrishBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Because he isn't good enough to win a championship in the NFL, and that should be our goal, right? Or have we all just agreed that stopping being embarrassing is good enough? -
A Solution to the Spiller Problem

Maybin needs 1 'experiance' 2 Another offseason with NFL trainers to get some more Bulk 3 a defensive line Just sayin'. -
Mmm breaded pessimism. But anyhow, I disagree with your premise that voicing your frustration with the literal worst team (arguably) in Bills history doesn't make you a "man". It was fun when the blind optimists "manned up" before the season and predicted the playoffs, but most can objectively identify the problems with the team. I suspect your "foxhole" is going to be one less crowded, but I guess I prefer to watch the games (when they aren't blacked out) from the couch. Cheers!

A Solution to the Spiller Problem
akm0404 replied to NaPolian8693's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What I said means this: Because Bills fans are blindly optimistic and are blindly loyal, Ralph Wilson can feel comfortable enough to sell his team's competitive advantage in meaningful regular season games for a suitcase filled with cash. Few other owners in the NFL have their fans so brainwashed that they wouldn't immediately be run out of town on a rail should they pull a clown maneuver like that. But Bills fans will happily swallow down just about anything because they are scared that their team will be taken away from them if they make any waves. -
When can we seen Brian Brohm?
akm0404 replied to The Wang From Sang's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Brohm won't sniff the field unless Fitzpatrick gets injured. This isn't even a debate. -
Who would have thought that millionaire entertainers in the public eye would be criticized and scrutinized more than the average American. This shocking and new revelation should really be brought to the attention of aspiring young entertainers so they don't make the same mistakes that Aaron Maybin made by becoming a millionaire entertainer. It is part of the job description of famous rich entertainer. Poor guy
