This reeks of Green Bay damage control. I find it hard to believe that an NFL GM was so enamored with Marshawn Lynch, a player who's been on the trade block for the last 6 months, that he was willing to give up a 3rd round pick or better BUT ONLY if the Bills contact them first. I doubt it. This is the typical blind item BS that guys like Glazer, Schefter, and Mort peddle just to justify their paychecks.

It come down to this for me-For a guy who absorbs a lot of hits I really don't trust Lynch to take care of his body to ensure he has a long career.

It does seem like strange timing for this trade. I really thought they were going to drag it out to the deadline and squeeze whatever value they could out of a Lynch deal.
