  1. spoken like a man deeply invested in hoping the subject goes away
  2. ballpark > $200 a month between fridge beer and bar tabs on average. On fishing trips and Bills games triple that
  3. how many blooper clips during the drought?
  4. intriguing but no mention of his passing stats
  5. if he turns Bortles around he's Coach of the Year but I don't see it. I suspect he'll mask Bortles' shortcomings with a run heavy offense
  6. You're right on both counts. I still didn't like the move because we undermined EJ's confidence for the crime of being blown up by JJ Watt for which he is not unique. Secondly we knew Orton was not going to push us over the top. By trashing EJ to save jobs at OBD just showed me organizational dysfunction. After that EJ was a wasted #1 pick. I don't think he's as bad as that play and were he managed better we may have got some value for him.

  8. If you want to call all of your time you spent watching the Bills over the years garbage time, I guess you are right. I actually enjoy my time watching the Bills. I look forward to it every week. I get it, I want them to win too. But if it's garbage time why watch on Sunday? I have had more fun watching the Bills than anything outside of watching my kids grow up but most of those games the highlights were from we lost I will never believe Orton was an upgrade even over Manuel. If we had told Manuel we still believed in him after the JJ Watt INT things might have turned out differently. Not saying better but we sunk his confidence after that. JJ Watt has sent many a QB into the turf. We didn't need to shame a rookie over it
  9. i agree that Namath should not have made it when 2 time SB winner Jim Plunkett did not
  10. Eric Moulds was the man. Kyle Orton in a stache not so much
  11. I will be the lone dissenter to say I like the signing. It's pure upside
  12. the best Buffalo Bill of his era and its not even close
  13. were there really 50 good plays between 1999 and now? My favourite over this period was Jabari Greer.
  14. anyone who has watched Belichick "A Football Life" will know that this is effective coaching. I am curious to know how coaching recreate game day tension in practice

  16. your analogies don't match
  17. it's one thing to inherit a Pro Bowl defense from Tony Dungy. It's another thing to draw your former team whose playbook you wrote in the SB. This is the equivalent of winning the powerball in back to back weeks. Gruden shouldn't test his luck lest he be made a fool of
  18. when I round the corner on Southwestern and see the Ralph rising in the distance I feel as giddy as a child. Once I pull into a parking spot at the Ralph I am in my happy place in the world. Then I party with my friends till about 12:15 and go through the frisk and to my seats. It's all like a dream
  19. never knew Clausen and Beuerlein had stints with the Browns
  20. you can expect most of DW's projects to suffer a similar fate
  21. looks like Gettleman as an intolerable bad cop without Beane. Our getting Beane just looks better and better
  22. it's a detective movie shot entirely in Buffalo and Niagara Falls. Enjoyed seeing many familiar landmarks. Good Story too
  23. their RB situation is pretty undefendable
