if the new regime whiffs on QB they will be shown the door like DW. If you fail at judging talent at the most important position you are not a football man. Taking late round flyers on guys like Pop Gun Peterman won't get it done either. The Kurt Warners, Tony Romos and Tom Bradys of this world come around once a millenium.

I'll never forgive OBD for taking away the BBMB. It was my go to place on the internet. Although it will never have quite the depth and range I think 2BD is the best alternative.

They got rid of a half dozen of their most talented players.
They kept a painfully mediocre QB.
They have a first-time HC.
They have a first-time GM.
They are facing their toughest schedule in recent memory.
This is, indeed, a rebuild. And it's about goddamn time.
At least with Beane being hired, it seems that McBeano will be the tandem for a few years to come.
I'd expect (pray/hope/beg for) a new QB next year and serious aspirations for a playoff run in 2019.

Our team is so well coached.
At times (game 4) we looked like we had no business being in the playoffs let alone the NHL.
But they stick with their system.
Boucher is a master of sports psychology and Karlsson is arguably the best 2 way player in the world.
At the beginning of the season I was watching Sens Caps and said 'this is your eastern conference.finals'.
I also saw Chicago Sens game and said 'Stanley Cup Finals'.
