the ghost of Vince Lombardi couldn't make it work in Cleveland

I'm more psyched for Panthers - Ravens

I can't believe the level of negativity so early into the regime. Did anyone think we'd just erase 19 years of organizational dysfunction in 18 months? This organization had to be rebuilt from scratch. This is the first time we've had a GM and coach be philosophically on the same page since the Bill Polian/John Butler days.
This season is a wash but I understand it. Beane has shown that he can effectively improve our draft position through trades. You can't raise the Titanic over night.
We've seen much worse in my 14 years as a season ticket holder. These posts just show that generation snowflake has the attention span of a gnat.
I expect that we'll sniff a wildcard next year and challenge for the division in year 4

So they didn't even consider a QB because the "timing was off". Think about how inept that is.
it makes sense to the people writing the cheques

Some of you are incurable LOL Like if other teams were all so much better. The Bills were average for the most part. Only this year have they become doormats.
Anyway, one of my points is that designed plays that can be practiced even by the least talented teams should be seen. KC is loaded to the core so of course you can't replicate their versatility and complexity. Cheatriots have Brady but I watched their opening drive and 95% of the success was all scheme and basic execution. As the game goes on of course talent takes over by a wide margin. But good coaching should help have some initial success, and then help get some ryhtmn and be tailored to your players' strengths and weaknesses. It seems a crap shoot to me so far, as if Daboll relies on luck, and can't really analyze tendencies and his own players.
Roman designed great plays but was bad at calling them during games. His obsession at supposedly adjusting to the other teams' strengths meant the Bills O had no identity. It's called outsmarting yourself. With Daboll I see little logic though in his defense he discovers Allen and the team's identity as they go along.
was this written by a human being or an algorithm?

Because, what could be worse than picking a franchise QB too soon?
subjecting him to a dysfunctional organization

Listened to Bruce Arian’s today. He said the cardinals wanted mahomes or Watson and both got picked just before them. He said he may still be coaching if it had worked out. Our guys saw no value in them.
not true. There's no proof that our organization saw no value in these players. We had hired McDermott but not Beane at the time of this draft. terry and Kim didn't want a franchise QB being picked until the new organization under Beane was fully formed. It was all about timing.

Watching other teams is much more enjoyable because of my disproportionate emotional investment in the Bills

They didn't want to let Whaley make the franchise QB pick. What hurts more is that we wouldn't have had to trade up to get Mahomes as we did Allen. I'm not knocking Allen.I think he's a good pick but Mahomes is freaking Dan Marino.

suddenly the Texans look legit

Watson has mediocre stats but throws for 4 TDs. Never seen a QB like that

Fins DC needs to be canned

why are the Dolphin defenders standing around watching?

The ball ended up being thrown BACKWARD....that is a lateral...there is no such thing as an incomplete backward pass...it has to be recovered by someone becasue it's a live ball
the arm was going fwd and in a QB league nothing else matters

There is no more tuck rule, right? The ball went backward wtf

I’m surprisingly finding myself hoping Miami wins this game...
Dont think it matters much for the Bills this year, and the recent loss to the Texans has left a bitter taste..
me too. I got 13.5 plus on the Fins on one of my online books

Terrible penalty leads to a TD
that was worth 7 points. Could be a decisive call.

very fresh legs
if Gase is getting 100+ passer ratings out of Osweiler he should get Coach of the Year
