    This may be the year teams with old QBs pick the next generation. I suspect they will not move up unless they are sold but I hope at least one will do so. NE, NO and SD may be one of those interested. A team like Detroit may also decide to move on from a good QB rather than keep paying big bucks for no results.

    I would stay at 9 as a good player will fall to them. In the other rounds based on their board, move up if they see value in doing so. With the free agent signings I am not worried so much about volume as quality.

    Solid player and with costs going up for one year a good, not great investment. That said, I would have looked for Houston if the choice was between the two.

    Why? He is long shot at TE. Now they have 3 and will go into camp with 4-6. TE was low percentage play at 9 yesterday or today. DL will be highest BPA most likely.

    What team is going to trade and why? Also saw a report that the Browns see only 15 first round talents thus they were OK with trading 17. My guess is they are doing a CYA to make the trade look better. The point is are getting a top talent at 9 and what talent are you getting when moving back. Would rather have JJ Watt or 2 lesser talents?

    Nice he had a good combine. I worry when a player moves up after the combine vs the combine confirming the tape. Does the tape show him worthy of 9?

    It seems like folks always want to move the LT to G in Buffalo. If a LT is BPA at 9, then fine. It will most likely not be. Let's Also not take a college LT who is projected to G at 9.

    Lived in WNY most of my life. Dad was Bills fan so I went thru a rebellious stage where I rooted for Miami. When the Bills started to climb up with Kelly became wide hard fan, never looked back.

    Jacobs will be a good pro. He is, however, not one of the top 9 players (7 if 2 QBs are picked) available to the Bills when they pick. They should be go BPA. If he is BPA then so be it.

    I went with trade with Oakland. Of course the caveat would be that no top 5 player slipped to 9. I do not believe Oakland would do this - they need volumes of players. There needs to be a BPA overall option in the poll.

    Exactly - like professional leaders and managers. Hire the best team possible and let them do their jobs to the strategy established by Beane.

    The NFL has shown they do not need a conviction to suspend or fine a person.

    The Jets were ahead of the Bills already. The trade limited the Bills ability to move up but it worked out for the better as the Bills used less draft capital to move into a position to draft Allen.
