  1. Well cut him now if he can not learn and be coached.
  2. Is a domestic violence pending?
  3. Agree. While I should not be, I am amazed at how people do not understand the difference between business and government.
  4. So instead of generic statements what talent would you bring in? We can agree a talent upgrade is required. The trick is getting new talent on the team.
  5. Mayfield will start by the end of the season. The only question is when?
  6. I wish we could see who the 35 are that voted yes. I would add them to my ignore list as they must not know much about football or the kind of team the Bills want to assemble.
  7. He let his personal experience get in the way of objective analysis. He could have been a good analyst otherwise.
  8. I do not see Zay being cut after one year. As a second round pick and the fact that receivers mature later than other positions, he will be given year 2 to reach his potential.
  9. I am on an international flight with a Pata bandwagon fan. Showed him what real fans look like. Nice job to the wedding party and the rooks.
  10. Why did he not quit right away? Did he think Allen would be cut and job saved?
  11. If the defenses were bad it would seem he would have a better chance to standout.
  12. You are incorrect. Free speech is protected from infringement by the government. You have no right to protest when on your employers time. The difference is when the employer is limited by collective bargaining. If the players feel this is significant, ask for it when working the next contract. I suspect that players will not make money or other concessions in order to kneel. That will tell you how committed they are to kneeling: will you take less money?
  13. Any reason you did not include the last paragraph? Please don't tell me lawyers never lie.
  14. Assuming this is true this alone will not lure new HQs to Buffalo. The tax policy of NYS makes it difficult to compete with low tax states. Just a fact the improved infrastructure will not address.
  15. I was in the Rosen camp but Allen is the Bills QB and I will root/support the team. I do think the professional talent evaluators are better than I am.
  16. Wait.....this must be fake news. I read here that she is not qualified to run a hot dog stand. Glad the Bills have respected representation with the rest of the owners.
  17. It is actually worse. My calculations assumed the Bills got 100%of the ticket increase. They need to share the revenue so it is 40% more per ticket if the revenue share is 60/40.
  18. I find these false arguements. The fact is the Bills met the criteria to make the play-offs. To say they lucked in requires every game, every play to be evaluated. Which one is the lucky one, just the last one? Do you need to talley all the positive and negative plays to see the score?
  19. Amazing.......after 1 OTA which you did not see you can tell a mistake was made.
  20. Nice write-up - thanks. If you take the emotion out and just look at the financials, a stadium usually does not make economic sense unless in a thriving, metropolitan community. If it was you money, would you invest in a new stadium? The hatch is you need a stadium or having a team is irrelevant. I suspect the route will be an extensive refurbishment, not new to minimize the loss.
  21. So a bit of math: Stadium cost: $750 Million Down Payment: $160 Millions (20%) Useful life of Stadium: 30 years (very conservative) Interest Rate: 4% Yearly Payments: $42,967,368 # events: 10 Tickets sold/event: 75,000 Cost per ticket: $57/game excluding down payment cost So is the fan base willing to pay and additional $57 per game all other things being equal?
  22. These are always used as reasons to build a stadium but a stadium never pays for itself. Add in the additional infrastructure required for roads, etc and it gets even worse. People are always willing to spend other peoples money.
