The problem with models is that they include the persons bias in the model. If they think completion percentage is a better indicator than yards per attempt, the model will reflect that bias. A good model minimizes those biases and performs a validation to confirm previous results produce similar results. People tend to think a model must be good because it is math but not always true.

No. The second QB would need to be a better WR, RB or TE than the regular position players. Otherwise you are putting inferior talent on the field for a few gadget plays. The one place this may work is with Jackson and Flacco. You could never split out Flacco but Jackson could excel as a RB. The downside is that you are risking your backup QB to injury. That is a high risk for a small reward unless you needed one play to win the game.

I suspect many here have not had to work in a real job that requires a profit to pay employees and fund growth. The NFL is regulating the work time, not their personal time. Protest on your own time and there is no issue. Just read a story where a coffee shop employee made a remark to a police officer. He was fired next day. Agree - had a rental property destroyed on the inside with no rent for a year. Finally got them out after a year in the NY state system. Rather then remodel and start the cycle again, we had the house burned by the fire department as a practice event. While I may miss out on some income (if able to collect), there are no heartaches.
