    I agree. Confused by those who thought he was going to be a finished product in his first start. He improved over week 1 and I expect he will continue to do so over the next 14 weeks.

    My take away from hard knocks was the lack of leadership all around the Browns. They seem to think leadership is yelling and sweating Maybe that occurs with the Bills but you also see leadership with direction and purpose. Combine that with coaching and you have a team beating expectations.

    It really was the only choice. If a coach preaches competition then you need to start the player who performed the best which was Peterman. This does not change the fact that Allen is the future and the future gets a chance to continue his development.

    Not sure what you are trying to prove by the list. By definition when the training camp roster is 90 and you and keep 63 including practice squad, there will be "misses". He will be measured by: 1. Play-off berths, then wins 2. Development of Allen and Edmunds

    Really? 1. Bills need talent at WR. 2. Former 1st round pick with potential. So the lottery ticket did not pay out. Good risk reward IMO.

    Agree - I am always amazed how they become millionaires quickly when they make less money than many in the real world.

    What is success? Darnold was 50% accurate with 86 yards. That is being is being touted as a success and the reason he should start. If Allen duplicated these stats I suspect many here would be calling Allen an inaccurate bust.

    The team that finds a way to successfully blend analytics and traditional scouting will have an advantage. There must be a way to combine the strengths of both methods in order to make better decisions.

    A stark contrast from the Browns.....of course cut for different audiences but the Browns appear unprofessional most of the time.
