  1. In regards to the Bills need more bodies, this would not have impacted the Bills last week unless they had a RB inactive. Payton is referencing having inactives when they are on the full payroll. It would make sense to me to have the entire 53 eligible to play on game day. if a player is injured and he can not play, then so be it or make changes to how the practice squad is managed.
  2. He claps too much so he needs to be cut.
  3. Many people have an addiction issue. I do not recall this reaction with Bryant or other players. Is it because they used the mental health approach in the announcement? The difference between Gordon and a person off the street is the support and resources available. He has more than the vast majority of people who struggle with addiction. Whether fair or not, that impacts the POV.
  4. So nothing is different than previous years?
  5. I do not considered that an on field decision. So are you saying where the coach reports to the owner he can not be fired?
  6. You are being gracious - look forward to your posts and thanks for the time commitment.
  7. Seems like a trick question but I will play along: no doubt Pats. Make their demise one game closer.
  8. Please explain your personal knowledge of the on field decisions made by the owners. If you listed it as an option you either have examples (not speculation) or trolling.
  9. So if you had a Hemi Charger you would throttle back? The long passes open up the run game (in theory) and the short pass game. Once the receivers can show some ability to get open, then it helps the other areas. Of course, this means the line needs to buy more time for the play to develop.
  10. But he claps too much and therefore must be fired before he can clap again.
  11. Part of the development of Allen is growing leadership, winning and gaining confidence - his and teammates. That is worth a few draft spots IMO.
  12. He claps too much and therefore needs to be fired.
  13. Officials will never be perfect. That is inherent in sports. It must be: 1. Consistent. Do not call one team for a touch foul and let the other team get away with a flagrant foul. 2. Fair. If it did not impact the quality of the game/that play, pick up the flag. Allow coaches to challenge calls that were made or missed. 3. Transparent. Each crew should be publicly graded and all fouls backed up with video evidence. Grade on missed fouls also. This will be much more important as gambling becomes more legalized. 4. Accountable. Fire those who grade poorly every year. Hold the entire crew accountable for bad calls. Fine them for poor performance. The game happens too fast and more cameras/replays make the job more difficult. Reviews done in real time should be the standard. While the above will not fix all issues, would make the game more watchable and flow better.
  14. Every QB since Luck has had questions. You still need to invest in the most important position when you have the opportunity. Who is the sure QB this year? I am guessing the best this year would have been #5 last year.
  15. Agree. Peterson is attractive when seen through a single lens. IMO it is not when trying to build a complete team.
  16. Because people who do not watch games make lists off of box scores...........
  17. So interim coaches count as being fired?
  18. Followed by fire everyone at OBD if they do not hire him.
  19. It would be stupid to draft a player who needs 3-4 years to develop in the first round. Top 10 players should make an immediate impact unless a QB.
  20. I believe the Jets will go with an offensive guru, not an O line coach.
  21. He has talent but will will drive a team to under perform. Hard to see how his talent over comes the negatives.
