    I had him 4th out of 5 in the draft - ahead of Jackson, behind Rosen. After season 1 he would be at 2 in a tie with Darnold. Mayfield ahead today but may not be in the long run if Allen keeps progressing. Interested to see this in a year.

    Too expensive for last year of his contract. Too much uncertainty. Yes there are age differences but if Sammie is worth $16M what would it cost to resign?

    That is all you could do. The issue is the mock does not reflect the realities of the actual picks so the picks may have been different. I also do not know the intent of his mock: is it what he would do or what he thinks the team would do?

    I have read he is projected as G or RT, not LT. Ideas on why?

    Yes - maybe a 2 year with no risk to Bills in year 2 if he hits the wall. A positive influence on the team and the young players.

    How hard do people look for ways to criticize? Exhibit one is this thread. There is 0% chance that the game would have been lost. If the fins could have won, it would not have been done. Why is this concept so difficult?

    The numbers 4 - 12 were the range the Bills could draft. 4 was highly unlikely. Yes they lost a few spots but the gain of the win in Kyle's last game was worth a few spots. Beane can get a good player at 9/10 without the noise of reaching for OL/WR as a bonus.
