  1. I mean…are we even sure it’s Josh Allen? Heck, could be Phillip Rivers from his All Pro season with the Colts…
  2. A few players I could see the Bills grabbing: Keion White, DL, Georgia Tech Ji’Ayir Brown, S, Penn State Chandler Zavala, OG, NC State Nick Saldiveri, OT/OG, Old Dominion Ricky Stromberg, C, Arkansas Yasir Abdullah, LB, Louisville Dontayvion Wicks, WR, Virginia
  3. Nope. I’m not that thirsty.
  4. Reality check: In a 15-year span, almost EVERYBODY moves on from their job. This fact literally means nothing.
  5. Aaron Rodgers took the Packers to the playoffs 11 times. He missed the Super Bowl in 10 of the those 11 trips. Getting fed up on Beane because we haven’t won the Super Bowl with Josh yet is like getting pissed because you didn’t get laid 30 minutes after walking into the bar.
  6. Remember all those years during the drought when we complained about the Bills criminally neglecting the TE position? Like the pick or not, we can cross “the Bills are ignoring TE” off our list of things to whine about.
  7. Simple question: Will the Bills make a draft selection in the first round?
  8. I’ve been married for 20+ years. My balls have a chip in them, too.
  9. Sometimes I hate this place. Open a thread expecting to see football talk, and instead you see two Bills fans in a running back-and-forth slapfest. And they’re not even arguing over football anymore…all that matters is getting the final word. Oh look, sports!
  10. I’m predicting two interceptions by Tre this weekend.
  11. I hate that phrase “trap game,” but this suddenly feels like a trap game. Either the Cheatriots take advantage of an emotionally drained Bills team and get the W, or the Bills go Beast Mode for Hamlin and hang 50 on them. Let’s hope for the latter, but my gut says we come out fairly flat.
  12. Milano is playing near an All-Pro level. Major oversight.
  13. Have you considered sitting on the football and throwing the armchair instead? Worth a try…
  14. I had the same thought a few days ago. Makes a ton of sense. Trouble is, it only makes sense to the Giants if they’re not competitive. At the moment, they’re exceeding expectations, and in a weak NFC, they’re a wild card contender until proven otherwise. Unfortunately, I don’t see them being eliminated before the trade deadline. Best thing that could happen for the Giants is to learn they’re not ready yet and make the trade. Acquire the capital they’ll need to rebuild the team the right way.
  15. Okay, last one…I promise: Allen throws stiff arms. Tua is still learning how to throw a football.
  16. Take heart, Dolphins fans: Your lives could always be worse. You could be Browns fans.
  17. How many fourth down plays have we had this year? Like…three? If I ran this offense, I wouldn’t lose a ton of sleep over missing a 3rd and 1 from time to time because I’d go for it on 4th and 1 every time. This team just doesn’t miss on back-to-back plays often (regardless of down and distance). How many times has Josh thrown two consecutive incompletions this year? If it has happened on fewer than 5% of drop backs, that says good things about my odds of converting one yard on two tries.
  18. We’re both 2 ‘n’ 0. You have faith in Tua? No. See what I did there?
  19. This is a great thread about abbreviations.
  20. Sure, that’s a fair point. And as a counterpoint, there are at least eight home games a year, so that’s at least 560,000 seats — that’s a lot of butts. Don’t get me wrong, I recognize tickets are expensive…and the inflation of prices happened rather quickly. But that’s the price we pay for having such a good team. Good teams breed popularity, popularity breeds demand, and high demand breeds premium prices for a premium product. As much as I’d love to take my kids to games, I’d much rather have a good team — I can find infinite ways to share wonderful experiences and create memories with my kids, but a championship-caliber team is a rarity.
  21. I don’t get people saying “There’s folks who wanna take their kid or grandkid to a game, but they can’t afford it.” Obviously 70,000 people were able to afford it — including a sold-out family section. Let’s not act like super wealthy elite 1% are depriving the working folks a chance at tickets. The combined population of Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse is only 600,000. Someone’s filling the stands. Yes, tickets are expensive. So are trips to Disney, restocking the fridge with beer every week, XBox subscriptions, lotto tickets, cable TV, unnecessarily large pickup trucks, addiction to cigarettes, UFC fight night, pumpkin spice lattes, and cheating on your wife. We all make choices.
  22. I saw Tenuta at the airport, along with Dion, Tremaine, and several others. He is an absolute GIANT of a human being. He legitimately made Tremaine Edmunds and Dion Dawkins look small. If he has any athleticism or blocking ability, that’d be…useful.
  23. This is all starting to feel like an SEO takeover…
