  1. This game right now is why people say the NFL is scripted.
  2. A wise man once said, if the only tool you have is a sports concussion 501(c)(3), it is tempting to treat everything as if it were a concussion. Or something like that.
  3. "Station Eleven" was the best show I've watched in ages, with a phenomenal and truly emotional score, and the Jeevan and Frank storyline will stay with me for a long time, especially when they finally make Kirsten's play: Can't find the clip from episode 9, but as a dad with girls, the scene where Jeevan hears this homemade song is heart-rending:
  4. New one from Hozier, "Nobody's Soldier" - pretty, pretty, pretty good
  5. While the Disney name and Disney+ legal strategy get all the attention here, it's worth noting the Raglan Road restaurant is not owned or operated by Disney World, but by Great Irish Pubs Florida.
  6. Stills Alone - ”I don't do business that don't make me smile”
  7. Missio is a very cool and underrated band, with a real variety of sounds/styles #MissioMafia
  8. Any former Buckeyes, especially from my college days: Eddie George, Orlando Pace, Shawn Springs, Terry Glenn. Also always liked Donovan McNabb going back to Syracuse.
  9. I was in HS when this came out: not sure if I have ever hated any movie more.
  10. Eddie 9V - "Saratoga"
  11. Kurt Vile parks for free! One of my favorite dudes making music today
  12. Tenacious D is doing "Rock D Vote" shows at a handful of midwestern colleges in October https://tenaciousd.com/rock-d-vote-🤘🏼-🇺🇸-🗳/
  13. I saw Stephen Wilson Jr opening for the Brothers Osborne last week, he seems like a pretty interesting guy and a potential rising star:
  14. Sorry, we never had cable growing up. 🤣
  15. Some reports say Chestnut is getting $1.4M to represent Impossible Foods for 4 years, whereas Nathan's wanted a 4-year $1.2M exclusive deal (and contractual exclusivity is the issue that previously forced Kobayashi out of the event).
  16. Did you leave your house in order, when you came for me? Is this really where you meant to be? Just beyond your limits, find the new frontier I live in the darkness, it's dark in here
  17. And then... the Packers went to the playoffs and won a game with a completely untested QB (who had better stats than Rodgers had the previous year) after he left for the bright lights of New Jersey. Who cares what he did 10 years ago, the dude is broken and probably washed today.
  18. Lol, spoken like a person who never had to live in the previous hundreds or thousands of years. 🙄
  19. Seems like you're conflating the quote and tweet in that post: Don Van Natta Jr is an ESPN writer, not Scheffler's lawyer, so his only strategy is getting clicks/likes/reposts. As an online commentator similarly disconnected from any legal ramifications, I concur that Detective Gillis sounds like he was a big mad baby this morning and probably ruined those pants by wetting them.
  20. Lol, I suggest you go re-watch his "Weapons of Self Destruction" special and see how that statement holds up.
  21. Exactly right. Seinfeld wasn't the first or last of anything in comedy, and Bargatze is a great example among many current comedians who are hilarious, smart, and not gratuitously vulgar.
