I thought this the other day, if the Bills had drafted AJ Green and Dalton instead of Dareus and Williams they MAY have been better last year but by taking Dareus it set up the Mario signing IMO which makes the Dareus/Williams draft better.

Probably won't watch but congrats nonetheless. Can't even begin to imagine the work that went into a project like this.

Haven't you been adamant about Floyd being nothing but trouble? At least he hasn't gotten in trouble in the last year, meanwhile you root for the guy that keeps getting in trouble. How does that make sense. Also if the Bills can grab this guy late then do it and hope that he realizes what a great opportunity he has.

Thanks for the info, I was all in on Floyd at 10 but if the Bills can swing a move up for Kalil with only the 10 and 41 I would not mind. I think he has to fall to 5 or 6 for that to work though. I am hesitant to give up next years one or this years 3 along with the 1 and 2.

Coaches leave their teams all the time with no repercussions as long as they are moving up (asst coach to HC) or going to college. The only time I have seen any team decline a move is when a position coach wants to take a DC/OC position.

If the move is considered moving up then they are allowed to go, that is why DC/OC leave teams to become HC every year.

There is a reason that picks traded for the following draft are a round higher than the pick being used this year, you have to ensure that pick you are getting is not lower than the one you are giving up. A 1st round pick next year should only cost a second this year, if the #10 pick is given up then you would have to get a pick in the top 5 next year for it to be worth it. Good luck guessing who those teams will be, no one would have predicted that Indy, StL, Minn, TB would be 1,2,3,5 this year. It would have been reasonable to pick Cleveland as a bottom 5 team so that leaves an 80% chance of failure.

Picks a year away are devalued by a round. It took 3 1's and a 2 to move from 6 to 2 in a draft with 6 blue chip prospects so a team going from 3 to 10 would be moving out of the blue chip window and could want more. Of course the trade from 6 to 2 was for a franchise QB and the picks given up reflect that but I don't think there would be much of a discount to go from 10 to 3.

That is not enough to move up from #10 to #3.

Exactly, there is no one out there that is available and better than Fitz. He gives it all and looks to be a good leader on and off the field. Also, his contract is pretty average for a QB signed in the last two years.

Clearly better, Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Manning, Manning, Big Ben, Stafford, Dalton, Schaub, Vick, Romo, Ryan, Newton, Rivers (14) Same Class, Flacco, Cassel, Cutler, A. Smith (4) Could be better, Bradford, Luck, RGIII, Locker, Freeman, Flynn (6) I think Fitz is an average QB and is somewhere between 15-20. Also he is NOT the 2nd best QB in Bills history, that is insanity.

What happens if that first rounder turns out to be much later. The Bengals drafted 4th last year and 21st this year. That is besides the fact that picks a year away are generally considered a round later in trade discussions. In that scenario you would be trading #10 for 2nd round picks. That is not how you win.

When you get a chance just do a google search. I am an admitted ND homer but I feel that Floyd is the real deal.
