It is being reported that Brandon Marshall will be released by the Jets. He could be a strong complement to Watkins in 2017. The issues I see are the limited cap space and the thought that being 32, Marshall may want to go to a contender. Thoughts?

Is it me, or does the lead up to this year's draft have a remarkably similar feel to the situation at one Bills Drive in 2013? We have a General Manager that is determined to find the Bills' "franchise quarterback" in a draft year where the conventional wisdom is that no qb is worthy of a 1st round pick. Many mock drafts have the Bills reaching for one of the top three qbs of this draft with the first pick. To me, this seems like the EJ Manuel decision all over again. I am not sure if I can go through another failed qb experiment. I have supported Whaley so far because he has made some good moves. My feeling is that you take the good with the bad. My feelings are beginning to turn. If he is foolish enough to turn loose TT without having a solid plan in place to replace him with veteran leadership, he should be gone, no questions asked!

This could help Las Vegas. The NFL Owners did not want an investor that had ownership in casinos. Goldman Sachs would be the perfect investor for this deal to move forward.

Regarding available qbs in this draft, it reminds me of the 2013 draft. The conventional wisdom was that no qb was worth a 1st round pick. But then EJ Manual looked great in the Senior Bowl and was drafted by our beloved Bills in the 1st round. Many "experts" are saying none of these qbs are 1st round talents, but some teams will reach because of a need at qb. Let's not repeat history. Keep TT, draft the best player available with our 1st pick, and find our qb in the 2018 draft class.

With this year's qb crop, I do not want the Bills to over reach for the next "franchise qb". Use the 1st round to select the best player available and get a difference maker. After that, selecting a. qb in the late r rounds will be ok.

I have confidence that McDermott will find a receivers coach that will do the job.

It seems like this logic is a bit of a stretch, but if we retain TT, we could be a playoff team.
