  1. I think he has the raw ability to be a good OLB...but he does looked far too confused out there to be the productive OLB we need...I hope I'm wrong...maybe he'll "get it" this year...we'll see
  2. heheheh...nah, I believe he'll still be here if he has a good camp...
  3. You answered your own question....Maybin, never played OLB, Kelsay never played OLB, Ellison too small to be OLB in 3-4, Moats more of a down DE than OLB... AT has played ten years as an OLB and is good for 5-10 sacks in a season and about 60-80 tackles...he is experienced and hates the Pats...BRING HIM IN...he's also a two time probowler...this guy can play... Bring in Hendersen to...Strouds buddy...and Flozell Adams for one season...while we Develop Wang
  4. Now that we drafted Wang, I think we would be served well to pick up Adams for a season...I believe Wang could be a solid LT just not right now....
  5. If evans is in the slot????...Edwards will throw for 4000 yards this season lol...and we'd better be three wide single TE single Back...
  6. No Maybin was all speed no size...ran a 4.5 I believe...but as "great" as Maybin has been hehehehe that's sarcasm...I believe this kid has a shot...he's a scrapper with good size at OLB in a 3-4...depending on how good he is with reads...they had trouble getting hands on him for a slow guy...I like that...I hope he makes the team and gives us some depth and toughness at the OLB spots...he reminds me a little of Grant Irons
  7. Bills will go 11-5 Edwards will start and throw for 2900 yards 19 td's and 10 ints.... We will end the season with the number one rushing offense with 3000 yards rushing Our defense will be a top ten defense...7th against the run and 10th against the pass Our special teams will boast the best punt cover and kr/pr game in the league... We will get blown out in the first round of the playoffs...GO BILLS
  8. Sometimes NESN...being the brainiacs they are list different programming when they are showing Bruins games...I think maybe it's a ploy to "trick" people into watching the Bruins play heheheeh...its gotta be on somewhere...
  9. No, our small school prospects were overlooked by bigger schools and had to establish themselves nationally to be drafted...not establish themselves with playing time...THEY WERE PLAYERS OF THE YEAR IN THIER SMALL SCHOOLS AND DOMINATED THE COMPETITION... The Easley pick is a little scary to me...however, he did run 4.4 and he's like 6'3'' or whatever....big and fast is good, but it's a risk...we'll see what happens there
  10. With the added size and strength to our front seven I believe we'll have a MUCH better season this year...I completely agree that we are not nearly in as bad a shape than the national media thinks or many of our fans think...people saying I drink the cool-aid too much but like you said a few plays and a stout run defense and we were 11-5 last season... Our new run defense is Edwards, Troup, Stroud as down linemen...those three weigh almost as much as our four linemen last season...then you add in our two MLB's both hundred tackle LB's...on the edges there's too much speculation to know who's going to start...but whether it is Kelsay, Maybin....Batten, Kelsay,....Maybin, Batten...Shobel comes back...or they bump Mitchell back outside and start Davis and Poz inside...we will have a ten times better run defense...and our pass defense will be great as well...it was good last season with turnovers even though our pass rush was weak...with our new scheme I am SURE we'll put more pressure on the QB's and our secondary will reap the benefits...we have ball hawking safeties now and I truly believe our defense will perform so much better this season...but even if it don't...go back to our offense... Our OC last season threw it 40 times a game and ran it 20 times...played to our weaknesses...knowing good an hell well we couldn't keep our QB upright, we should have been pounding the rock...especially considering we averaged 4.4 ypc which is actually top fivish in the league...Gailey is much more seasoned and adding spiller I am guessing we are going to run it 40-50 times per game and throw it 15-20 times...playing to our strengths...at 4.4 ypc you're looking at 200 yards rushing...THAT keeps offenses OFF the field...and that's saying Spiller doesn't average more than 4.4 ypc...which in looking at him I believe he's such a break away back that our production will be ridiculous in the running game...when your running game is THAT effective...the passing game has recievers running wide open much more often...not to mention Trent's passing game is VERY strong with underneath routes that will be wide open because of more run blitzing...with Spiller out of the backfield, our passing attack can be fairly dangerous... I just see this really being a better season...I've already stated I beleive we go 11-5 this season and are back in the playoffs for the first time in a decade...I'm excited for the first time since we brought in Drew Bledsoe :0) hehehehe
  11. Personally I think if we took Cody where we were, Baltimore would have went with this guy and wouldn't have had a shot at him later on...I still think it was a little bit of a reach, but no more than taking him maybe six or seven spots too early...not a big deal at all... When they announced this pick I was like huh? who?...but then after really looking him up and listening to his interviews...watching his highlights...my mind was changed completely...I didn't see ANYTHING or hear ANYTHING...that said this guy wasn't a perfect NT...he is a good guy...hard worker...read about how he came in a bit overwieght and only played a few snaps and got subbed out and went to the coach and said "what can I do to be better" the coach told him to work on stamina and lose some weight...lost fifteen pounds every season until his JR. year when he had his breakout season...he puts in the work...unlike a lot of reports on Cody...I still like Cody the guy is a monster, but honestly I really think Troup could be better because of work ethic alone...I knew nothing about him, but I have yet to see a negative report on the kid...With Edwards, Troup, and Stroud as down linemen our run defense got WORLDS better in one off season...this draft is a lot better than I gave it credit for out of the gate...ALOT...
  12. Exactly...I have been saying this as well. With a OC that knows that we have a stable of able backs...our QB...which IMO will be Edwards will be able to stay on his feet...defenses have to respect we are running the ball more often than not and when we do pass...we can slow the pass rush with our running threats...our checkdown game with Spiller has just increased how dangerous it could be...a healthy Nelson gives us a strong under option and a deep threat as well...if we get another reciever to step up...I think our offense looks solid...at least a middle of the pack passing attack and a great running attack...an offense good enough to win some ball games... I've proudly "drunk the cool-aid"...GO BILLS 11-5
  13. I don't see a weakness at RT...with Meredith or Cornell Green...we have a good starting RT...Cornell Green gave up only one sack last season at RT for the Raiders...and Meredith didn't give up any...the raiders and the bills were able to run the ball effectively as well...so...I don't see a weakness at RT... LT of course is a weakness...but if we bump Levitre out there...and Calloway can play inside like everyone says he can...I don't think that would be a huge liability...I don't think we'd have a "strong" offensive line like that...but it wouldn't be the liability it was last season... QB I don't think is as weak as people think...
  14. It's going to be a four way battle for starter...if Brohm doesn't win starter...he's gone I think...you don't keep two project QBs on the roster and Levi will make it over Brohm because he's a draft pick this season...This season Edwards will win the starting job...he's a better QB than Fitzy...with the power running game and a screen small ball offensive game plan Edwards will dominate statistically...
  15. At least someone here has some sense... Ewards will start, Fitzy will back him up, and Levi Brown or Brohm will be the project third stringer...IMO it will be Levi Brown...I am high on this guy...after this season it will be decision time...third years are always make or break years for QB's...if Edwards impresses and we win this season...I think they resign him...if it's more deer in headlights...he's gone and they see what they got with Levi...that's just basically how it goes...well on regular teams...anything can happen...we are in fact the Bills
  16. Okay so on offense...you're looking at OLine...here's what I think it will look like, and everyone will disagree, but here goes.... Levitre LT, Wood LG, Hangartner C, Calloway RG, Meredith RT....just what I think until Wang is ready to step in then, we move out Hangartner and Wood to C and then Levitre back inside... Then for WR's I think we are good... Nelson will be an impact TE this year... Backfield is the Best in football with Spiller in the mix... QB I like Trent Edwards to start and Levi for the future possibility IF Edwards doesn't work out... Defense I think we're weak on the edges but VERY strong on the DLine, Middle LB's, and Secondary...and on the edges you got the Maybin deal going on, and Shobel or not...Kelsay supposedly...and those rooks...allllllll question marks as far as I'm concerned, but I think they will at least be mediocre and with the blitz packages I think they will do alright...I believe we have an above average defense... Our Special Teams will be very good as well... I say 11-5 this season
  17. heheheheehh I was just about to question which show he was watching....I am sick of Tony Dungy getting all the pub nowadays...I watched him on a commercial for World of Warcraft...and i keep seeing Dungy sayin "how you explain the mohawk gunnade"...it's sickening
  18. First I disagree completely with the Bills being a poor team next season...we already had an effective running game last season...I know people will trash it all day long, but the fact of the matter is that we failed to run the ball enough....we averaged 4.4 ypc last season and that is GOOD...we just didn't run the ball thanks to an inexperienced OC and a VERY experienced TO...Gailey runs the ball often and with the likes of Lynch, Jackson, and Spiller???? c'mon...we could EASILY be a top five rushing offense...our ST looks like we'll have the best return game in the NFL...our Kicking game is strong...and day three in the draft we added kids that can cover those deep punts...very solid... Defense...3-4's are generally more effective schemes than 4-3's against the run...we had a very good pass defense last season...our secondary is another very good strength on this team...we were second only to NO if I'm not mistaken in interceptions...our front seven got a WHOLE lot bigger after this draft...we have a beefy 3-4 downlinemen set up....Edwards, Troup, Stroud....our LB's got depth from this draft and while I am skeptical about our edge pass rushers...I believe they will be at least mediocre...our interior with Poz/Davis/Mitchell is very strong...we will DEFINITELY be stronger against the run this season...and just because of the blitz packages we will have a better pass rush.... So how is this looking bad so far...great running game, above average defense, great special teams......OHHHHHHHHHHH...you're one of those QB guys... IMHO Edwards is good enough to run this offense...and Levi Brown...down the road will impress Buffalo...I like Levi Brown ALOT...
  19. After day one I was very skeptical...then I was skeptical again when the took Torell Troup as high as they did...day two I still was questioning whether or not we were going to have a good draft...not that I don't think Spiller is probably the best RB since Thurman to come to Buffalo...but, just because of our crowded backfield...and I didn't know anything really about Torell Troup.... Day three these guys showed why they were scouts for so damn long...Nix and company blew my mind in day three... Wang is a special kid...along with beefing up our front seven with solid guys that give us depth and special teamers...I was really impressed...then to grab Levi in the seventh???...just a good all around draft...really...I think we are alright...I give our draft a B maybe B plus
  20. Levi Brown is offense rookie of the year all day long...7th round savior of the Bills hehehehee.... I'll grade the draft anyway because Im a fan and fans are supposed to talk about thier team...even if they are completely clueless hehehe I give the Bills a B...they didn't get the top notch Tackle they needed, but they did address the Nose and the front seven in general...they got a deep threat/breakaway rb/touchdown maker in Spiller...and a possible project QB to sit behind Trent and insurance for if Edwards does not pan out the way they think...I feel they did especially well on day three and Wang is a steal and could be something special...so...there...I'm a clueless fan and I give them a B...
  21. He'll have a great season with Gailey as coach...I think he throws better on the run than Fitzy and Edwards hehehe...Spiller can do anything...still don't agree with the pick, but I think he'll push for the rookie of the year...except you're missing one major fact that will not allow Spiller to get offensive rookie of the year.. LEVI BROWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hehehehehehe
  22. I'm out in Illinois, and hell yes I'm getting the NFL ticket...have had it for five years now and even if we can't do anything...I like to SEE that we can't do anything...Love the Bills...and this year................................like every year, I'm excited to see the changes
  23. I think if we are just not interested in drafting a LT it's either Meredith or Levitre there come week one...and if Levitre is there...who we putting in at OG?
