Rather sign Carolinas Steve Smith. He's a free agent after this year and is unhappy in Carolina.

At this point the Bills should not attempt to win anymore games in order to ensure a good player at there spot. I'm shooting for at least the 5 pick in the draft if not lower.

This Edidins dude was really good in preseason. Can't wait till he is promoted.

Chan is a great coach. However every season the Coach, GM should make adjustments where needed. Both on the coaching side as well as players. If changes aren't made then yes, Chan, Nix and Co should leave. Be patient, changes will be made. I suspect that Edwards will not be back if we don't make the playoffs this year.

I agree. I hope that we land Landry Jones and then the best Pass Rusher available. If brad Smiths contract isn't guaranteed along with Kelsay then I would cut them. Same goes for Thigpen. That is freed up money that we can utilize on free agents that can make an impact. By the way, I'm not given up on Merriman. He finally got that surgery that was 2 years overdue. As for Fred I would not pay him more than 5 million a year if Spiller arrives. We can draft a RB with same qualities as Fred but better burst. Fred purely cannot run that fast. I laugh when he has that opening but always has at least 3 defenders behind him. Didn't Dallas draft their RB late in the 3rd? That boys a beast. Finally - lets push hard for Carolinas Steve Smith.

My draft would be in the following order. QB- Landry Jones LB - best pass rusher at spot LB - best pass rusher at spot WR - best big physical receiver at spot OL - ditto If Landry is not available the we take the next best QB. Im assuming that we will have the 5 th pick.

Have anyone of you Bills fan had a chance to listen to Chans conference today? He made a comment about how the team is in trouble if they get hurt too easily and not be able to respond and in trouble if after coming this far they require a motivational speech. Not sure if he was implying it or just throwing it out there so that the team can draw there own conclusions. To me it seemed that he was implying it. The way I see it is that this team is done for the year and will not win another game. You can take that to the bank.

He was very good in preseason right next to Easley. He caught a couple of bombs down the field, took a couple of licks and got back up. I felt that he was able to contribute right away but, was shocked when he didn't make the 53.

My 2 cents- 1) Fitzbeardy is not starter material. He's more like a backup. If we are in position to sign Landry Jones or a QB with a strong arm then we have to go for it. Fitz's continued failure is his lack to keep defenses guessing. But how can he do that if all he does is go short zone. 2) This team is in desperate need of at least 4 pass rushers. 2 decent DEs and 2 ILBs. Who knows, maybe we have those players on hand already but how would we be able to tell when George Edwards is the DC. 3) We need big physical corners and free safety. You know, the ones that make you pay a sec after the catch. The Gators may have one in Jenkins. He'll be coming out this year. 4) We desparately need a #1 and #2 receiver. One will have to come from Free Agency and pray that the other is a hidden gem in the draft. They must be big, fast and physical. Otherwise, bring back TO draft your number 1 and resign Stevie. We can also try and go after Steve Smith who I think may be a Free Agent after this season. Cut Jones, Parrish and Naaman. 5) Talk Ralph into selling the team. He's been nothing but curse to this team. Also, Russ Brandon should be thrown out on his a$$. He knows nothing about Football. I'd rather give the job to Bill Cowart.

I think it's easier to get a Pass Rusher than a big DT as dominating as Dareus. Now that we have fortified our front guys we can now continue to draft /sign p layers that will make us stronger. With that said, I'm sure Moates can become a phenom if the right defensive coaches are around him. Here's to Edwards has got to go campaign!

Since this is a pretty good matchup, I prefer to keep my mouth shut and just pray that the Bills come out victorious. Stevie is going to have to step it up some. He's been missing for a while now.

As much as I like Stevie as a person, I'm not sure he is worth the amount of money he is requesting. Yes, he can run routes but is by no means Calvin Johnson, Reggie Wayne or Larry Fitzgerald material.
