I'm neither happy nor upset about this move. While we are always complaining about how we don't want retread hires, I have to admit this is a step into a new direction. On the bright side, clearly this guy was hired to be a coach and nothing more. He is a, "in your face emotional coach" and will call you out of need be. Totally opposite from Gaily. Now, what will really matter are the OC and DC, Special Teams personel. What will really make a difference is the caliber type QB drafted and what they plan on doing with Fitz. Do you agree? Don't be surprised if Nassib is our new QB. For what ever its worth, Nassib has really, really impressive numbers and is a PA native. Very interesting.

Look the way i see it is, once Wilson dies the team will be sold and the new owner(s) will not retain Russ. My advise to Russ, work quickly.

I disagree. I would snatch Lovie ASAP! Not only is he a football genius he is also a Defensive minded coach. What buried him in Chicago is his marriage to Cutler. Give him a good QB and good Offensive Coordintor and he will be successful. If Whaley is appointed as GM he will have a say in who is bought in as OC.

Chan Gaily realized that Fitz is not a starter and demanded that the team pursue Michael Vick during the offseason. Heck, I'd trade Fred Jackson for Vick if need be, but not any picks. We can even throw in Donald Jones to sweeten the deal.

Listen, what we should never do is reach for a QB if he isn't worthy of being selected high. Quite honestly, there aren't any outstanding QBs to go gaga over this year. In the first round we should pick up the best LB available. Then we should get the best WR available in the second. If Geno or Glennon is available then pick them up here otherwise no one else is worthy of being selected this high. In the third, pick up a QB. Now the tough part, free agency. Should we attempt to pick up Vick? If we pick up a WR and offer Minny next years 2nd round pick for Harvin then this would make sense. What do you think?

QBs suck in the upcoming 2013 draft. I'd say draft Manti Teo, get the best CB available to line up opposite of Gilmore. Pick up Vick and let him compete against Tarvaris. Release Fitzhatrick and draft a WR in the 3rd. Resign Levitre.
