  1. This would be a perfect opportunity to swap picks with the Giants. First we select Ebron if he's there, then have the Giants select Kelvin Benjamin, if he's there, and swap players along with 2nd round pick. I would love this move. Besides, I thing Benjamin is better than Evans.
  2. The Buffalo Bills Select, Eric Ebron out of the University of North Carolina. Just a hunch. After listening to Dougs interview yesterday he was asked what his favorite college game was. After a couple of seconds he replied, UNC vs Miami. Do yourself a favor, listen to the audio clip on WGR550.
  3. I will definitely be at the Jags game. Will rock my Stevie Johnson jersey. Haven't purchased the tickets as of yet, but will very soon.
  4. I would definitely go QB in the first. This is projected to be an elite QB class and I don't want us to miss it. Reminds me of 1983.
  5. Cugalabanza- you never answered my question. How would you utilize your first pick in the 2014 draft?
  6. For anyone that feels that we are still in the playoff hunt is very simply in denial. In looking at the schedule, (6 games left) I can honestly state that there is no way that we will beat the Jets and Patriots. The Miami game is still up in the air and as for the falcons, I still don't know. At this point, I would just utilize the next 6 games to give EJ enough experience for next year. However, we should also tank it in order to get a higher pick. With that said, what position do you think the team lacks in and therefore should be our first round pick?
  7. Beware, Evan Rodriguez was released not because of on field issues but because of off field issues. He was arrested twice. Once for DWI and the other for resisting arrest while DWI. This move leads me to believe that they will use him on special teams and give Easily more time on the field.
  8. Honestly, I would release him after tomorrow morning. Yes, he is a fast guy and has a wonderful personality, but lets face it. The kid is not an NFL football player as he is afraid of the hits and is easily intimidated. This is probably why he runs bad routes. What makes him look bad is that there is a player that is smaller than him in Robey who was clearly born to be a football player. He's 5'7" but his heart alone makes him seem taller. He's got pride, he's a rookie, and has plenty of guts. He leaves it on the freaking field every week. TJ does not have that. Shall I go on.... Lets look at Goodwin. Clearly Goodwin is shorter that TJ, but he's got grit, hunger and pride. He's a first year player and also leaves it on the field as he's not afraid of the contact. I wouldn't be surprised if he already has more TD catches than TJ...even when you total his TDs from his rookie season to this season. That's sad. Again, this is no mock on TJ. He is a wonderful person just not a football player. Once the coaches realize that then they can quickly promote Easily or the next person on the depth chart. Come on guys WE DONT NEED ANALYTICS TO FIGURE THAT OUT. Just stop being in denial.
  9. Do any of you feel as if the Bills are at least a player or two away from becoming a better club? With that said, if you could make a trade who would it be for and what would you give up? I personally would be in favor of trading Byrd and TJ. I'd send Byrd to any team for at least a 5th rounder. This is under the impression that Byrd will walk after this year. Franchising him will not make sense as the club would have to pay a higher cost. Read somewhere that the jags are dangling Blackmon for picks. I'd send TJ and a 3rd rounder to them for him. I think that the bills need a taller receiver opposite of Stevie. One of those jump up and catch type of receivers. Sure, Easily is tall but it's obvious they want him to stay in Special Teams.
  10. I agree, Marrone should bench his ass until he is 110%. Now, when I would think twice about offering him an extension because he simply isn't the ideal running back that this team needs. What we need is a bruiser, a back that hits that hole hard and carries people with him. Also, someone that can take a licking and keep on ticking. Heck, Maurice Jones Drew is a better back. 2014 should be a year where we draft a decent RB in the 3rd or 4th or we could always sign FA to be MoJo.
  11. Would anybody here offer/trade Spiller for MoJo? I would attempt to trade both Byrd and Spiller for MoJo and a 2014 draft pick....I'd do it in a heartbeat.
  12. Oh, bother!
  13. Wow, this is truly absurd! If this small incident merited a fine then the fool that taunted EJ after hurting his knee should be fined as well.
  14. Now is the time.
  15. Would much rather have Freeman over the other guys.
  16. Does anyone get the impression that Freeman is gay? Perhaps this is why teams are not interested in him. Read an article by Shaun king where he stated that Freeman is not a ra-ra guy. He would come in play and then go home.
  17. Quite frankly, a hit of that caliber almost certainly means that he has a partial, if not complete, tear of his MCL. Technically, there is no such thing as a sprained knee. So what does this mean? Buffalo better get Josh Freemans agent on the phone cause EJ will be out for a while. Whaley/Marrone should NOT put the faith of the organization in Tuels hands? Its bad enough that people pay high prices for these tickets as well as the ridiculous prices for DirecTv. Buffalo owes it to the fans to put the best possible product on the field. Shawn Powell was an obvious cut. Not sure why Rogers wasn't cut as well or Brown.
  18. If I were the GM, I would do the following. First, I would attempt to trade Byrd for pick(s) or player. Once he is traded, it would free up a spot on the roster. I would then sign the best available RB to back up Choice. Lastly, I would bench Freddie and Spiller in order to avoid much more damage to their existing injuries. This is only week 5 and so we have 11 more games to go.
  19. What I like about Kiko is that he does not seem too complacent with his current production. He is aware that their is much more to learn and therefore aims to get better all the time. Not only does he seem like an easy going, nonchalant guy, he also seems relaxed. I like that about him.
  20. Isn't that what's happening to Collin Brown now? In any case, it was a bad idea to begin with. Theres a 100 lb difference between a G and a TE. NM
  21. Is it me or does anybody here suspect that Byrd may be milking it in order to prevent a major injury on a contract year? I'd say we trade him for a player of need or draft picks. Let me know what you think.
  22. At first, I would trade Byrd, by all means necessary, to any team not in the AFC East. Either for a 2nd rounder or a player. A Williams is holding it down just right. I would also entertain dangling M Williams. I feel that Mario disappears frequently and so perhaps it's time to see what we can get in the draft at DE or trade him for a guard. Would live to trade him to Minny for Levitre.
  23. How about Syravuse TE Provo? He can be converted into a FB.
  24. As per Buffalorumblings.com Jay Ross was signed to the 53 man roster after moving Carrington to the IR.
