Trade for picks while you can
Stevie's not getting traded with his current awful contract, so this is silly. I'd be open to a 2nd for him if the guaranteed money wasn't a killer.
Right. Lets trade a proven NFL player who is a top contributor to this team on and off the field for a pick we can use to take a player that will maybe work out.
Then, if that player is a bust we can start topics about cutting said player or about how we should trade player to team x for a 7th round pick. I mean that team would be crazy not to want a former 1st or 2nd rounder for a 7th round pick. Right? Right?!?!?

Hoping for more NE FGs so I can get more fantasy points. Oh, and some Geno INTs for my own amusement and so we can say EJ is obviously the better QB.

I was watching Mike and Mike and they were going through a bunch of top 5s from the first week of football. Top five catches, top five did that really happen, etc. Right as I had to leave they were cutting away to a commercial but said they would do the top five speeches when they returned, and happened to show a picture of Freddie as they were cutting away. Did anyone see this or know if Jackson's sideline huddle speech got mentioned? Just curious and also, its great to see our true leaders stepping up when needed.

I believe Marrone mentioned that after having Tuesday off they would practice Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, before doing a normal walkthrough Saturday.

This is preliminary as in as of "right now". With September 8th almost two weeks away, let us sincerely hope this doesn't come to be.

Opened my browser this morning and got REALLY excited when I saw the headline. Clicked the link and realized it is Robert WoodS that they reached an agreement with not Eric Wood. Still exciting, but I was a little disappointed when I realized my error.

2008: Home against Seattle
2009: Road vs. Pats (home opener week two against Bucs)
2010: Home vs. Fins
2011: Road vs. Chiefs (home opener week two against Raiders)
2012: Road vs. Jets (home opener week two against Chiefs)
For the record: 4-1 in home openers. Hopefully that means we'll have a week one game at home this season.
I would rather see us finish the season at home than open at home week 1. Not sure if the NFL actually has a system and cares about fairness, or if week one home games are just luck of the draw.

I had to do it twice as well. This first time I was hoping for a confirmation that I could then copy, but that didn't happy. So I did the picks again and then typed it here before hitting submit. I agree though, I was expecting an email confirmation.

Also it is sad that you would put 3 home games again in December. I hope the Bills play no more than 2 games in December this year....Otherwise those last three games will not sell out.
As a Bills fan I have to always remain optimistic, otherwise it would get way too depressing. So I saw we're in the playoff hunt at that point and those games all sellout!

I think the NFL schedules the Bills week 1 on Prime time against the Ravens as sacrificial lambs.
Ha! That would not surprise me, but I think the NFL looks for more of a draw and wants to create more interest. I say they have Baltimore go against Pittsburgh week 1.

Good thing we don't let the fans run this team. I remember, also last year, that everyone was so upset we cut Tank Carder. Granted, some of that had to do with the Lynch trade, what we got in return, yadda yadda yadda lobster bisque... But anyway... I looked up Tank's stats just for fun. FOUR total tackles this year. Although, 75% of those are solo tackles. Imagine if the fans ran this team. Aaron Williams would be gone, Tank would be starting at LB, and Roscoe would still be returning punts. Oh, and Stevie, our best receiver and a player that absolutely loves this team and city, would be gone.
