Nobody gets open. We need speed at receiver. Draft egbuka first round to get speed. Then go defense. It’s why we had to trade for cooper during the season. The offense was early in the season in fact not fine.

2nd most points per game, behind only Detroit. 30.9 pts per game. How many points do you want to score?

     Offense is absolutely fine.

yes we need DL, CB, DE.  But we have been neglecting Josh and WR his entire career.  4 year agos we desperately needed WR, 3 years ago, 2 years ago, and last year.,  We have ignored Josh's needs.  It is obvious we need WR. For the love of God, get Josh a few talented WRs!

Offense is fine. Every single draft pick should be a defensive player.

We have historically been poor in stopping run. Curious what’s it gonna take for Bills to stop the run? Is it coaching scheme, not enough talent , probably both? Enlighten me oh wise ones…

We've allowed the 4th fewest points in the league this year, are middle of the pack on rush yards allowed, and are 6th best in opponent rushing TDs per game at 0.6. For comparison, Minnesota is first at 0.4 and Dallas is last at 1.8. We'll occasionally get gashed with a big run or even allow a RB to have a big day, but who cares, given the overall results. Start going all in on stopping the run, and other holes will quickly appear.

  4. Tough call, but I feel like Josh has proven he’s going to score points regardless of the role players, so I’d focus on players to help us stop other teams.

    Clements

    Byrd

Honorable mention for Pat Williams and London Fletcher

Neither of those are drought era players. Both played in the playoffs.

    And it's drought not draught.

They also played on the team during the drought, no?

Wouldn't be the first College Basketball star to transition to the NFL...

Usually they end up at TE tho like Antonio Gates or Jimmy Graham or Tony Gonzalez...not sure I've ever heard of one becoming a left tackle before...

6'9" 275 lbs currently and his body is huge and could easily support 320+ lbs with likely little loss of mobility...

He has gotten the attention of NFL scouts, people in college personnel roles and GMs big time apparently with his performance at the tournament...dude looks like a ballerina in the low post.

I remember one college TE who became an okay LT for the Bills and Eagles.

Maybe DJ could first become a TE and then become a LT.

Disagree he won't ever get one. But I'm curious, which year do you think Josh should've won?

Manning had the MVPs, Brady had the SBs. In this case, Mahomes has the MVps AND the SBs. It's the not the same thing.

The (arguably) two best QBs in the game right now meeting multiple times in the playoffs. Close enough.

Mahomes has made four SB (edit: 3. thanks Billl) and won two. He has MVPs. Let's not do this yet.

Meh. Brady has (and did way back when as well) way more Super Bowl appearances than Peyton, and we did it with them. Might as well start sometime.

And with a few exceptions (Rich Eisen, Jim Rome) there definitely seems to be an anti-Bills/anti-Josh Allen sentiment...and that's a good thing.

The average take today goes this way: Dolphins were injured, Josh was bad, Miami should have won but they blew it. On several shows the Bills/Dolphins game and Buffalo's miracle climb to the 2nd seed wasn't even the lead story. But I'm fine with this. I hope the Bills are lucky and Josh is "bad" all the way to las Vegas. Last year the Bills were the media darlings and we fell short. This year our "window is closed" blah blah.  But I always felt like Buffalo succeeds more when they are disrespected. So I say keep it coming.

I’ve actually heard a lot of takes about how we win despite multiple crucial errors. The types of mistakes we make, one or two would crush other teams, yet we survive multiple of these. And the games we have lost, could have easily been wins (for the most part). Imagine how unstoppable this team will be in the playoffs if they avoid the mistakes. Josh Allen is superhuman and can carry this team to a SB victory.

     That’s what I’m hearing.
