  1. I agree, why no field goal attemp, 4th and 11 and you need multiple score, no comprende
  2. Keep them to a field goal and it take from there I guess?
  3. Balll control game with the Bills pulling it out in the end 13 to 10 I hope you like punts and 3 yards and a cloud of dust football. Thad the Impaler throws to pick up a big first down late. I am looking forward to it, I guess I have a serious douse of Bills Fever.
  4. I've had PF myself and it is painful and i couldn't imagine playing football on a heel that hurt that much. I agree with your views, he will get healthy at some point and then play. He is not going to go out there at less than 100% and potentially hurt his value.
  5. Ralph is cheap or Because Mother Nature needs my tears to replenish the seas.
  6. Like a few posters, I thought that FJ had the hot hand and should have been in there at the end. CJ will be fine, today wasn't his day, it happens. The Bills need to clean up the penalties, turnovers and EJ needs to be a little more accurate and the Bills will be right in the mix for the division. As for Marrone, the challenge was bizarre, not riding FJ late, the punt while in NE territory, the go for broke pass play on 3rd and two ( Chanesque IMO) and running up tempo with 5 minutes left in a close game with a rookie QB are debatable approaches with the Pats on the ropes in a season opener at home. Overall, I feel like I usually do after a Pats loss but I think brighter days are ahead. Go Bills.
  7. Me too. I hope he lights it up, how would this be bad for the Bills? Back up QBs see the field in the NFL, hopefully Lienart does a great job.
  8. http://thesidelineview.com/columns/caplans-nfl-corner/best-available-nfl-free-agents-defense Here's a list of free agents. Try not to drool.
  9. I would love it. I know the Bills need players to play now but this guys seems determined to come back and play at the same level or higher. I think he comes back and whomever drafts him will be very happy.
  10. If the Bills trade down I think they end up taking a QB in the first. But I will admit I have no clue what might happen tonight.
  11. My favourite I am BPA kinda guy and there are a bunch of Bills possible selections I would be happy with. IMO Austin is a talented player that would make the Bills better so I would be OK with that selection. I've posted many this many times, the Bills can select any number of positions at 8 and fill holes. Hence I am hoping for a trade down.
  12. I agree there is no corelation. There is just as likely a case that teams that didn't do it frequently are better franchises as they have had QBs that played a long time so there was no need to continually draft a QB in the first round.
  13. I love Eifert and think he probably has one of the highest floors in the draft. If the Bills select him I would not be upset. I want guys that have a shot to be in Hawaii every year and Eifert fits that bill.
  14. Wicked! That clip made me feel better. I too love the draft. It is the perfect storm of excitement, disappointment and rationalization that being a Bills fan is all about
  15. I think the Jets are higher on Millner, especially now that Revis is gone. If this is accurate, I have no idea if it is but..it raises interesting questions, would the Bills take an exta pick off their division rival and allow them to pick the guy they want? Would the Bills take Millner out of spite? Would the Jets make a deal with Detroit to make sure they got Millner? Cant wait for the draft, this is very cool.
  16. I believe your views concerning Nix are correct. However, I am not sure who is really pulling the trigger. That and Nix was quoted earlier this week as saying the Bills are open for business so I trade down might happen.
  17. I predict a trade down. If not--Millner.
  18. The Bills ranked in the top 15 in 3rd down conversions. This shocked me to be honest. I guess I only remember the critical turnovers at the worst possible moments. I do agree with you. Teams that pick up 3 and 8's for first downs on a regular basis usually do well. Teams that prevent the other guy from moving the chains also do well. Football is the ultimate team game so your point about 11 on 11 is one that I completely agree with. BPA. What if Millner is there at 8 and he is the highest ranked guy you have? Do you not take him because you happened to draft Gilmour last year? http://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/third-down-conversion-pct
  19. Interesting idea. Most would agree that QB is still a position of dire need. Two shots on net may be the way to go. Lets face it, anybody selected after round 2 is not likely to see major playing time and could even be in danger of not making the team. What if someone like Bray is there in the 4th and the Bills had a decent grade on him? Not a big gamble for the potential payoff.
  20. I am always for improving the oline. I will admit to not knowing much about the backups from last year but if you can insert a player with a pro bowl future it cant hurt. By all accounts Cooper or Womack fit that bill. I am also OK with picking up a QB in round 2. As for your original question, I am BPA all the way and that would include D lineman. All fronts play rotations so anyone drafted will see the field. Holes abound, the Bills can select a player at almost every position and make the case for it.
  21. Those are impressive numbers. 38 inch verticle is insane for a 230 lbs pound guy. I don't know the guy but he is an athlete.
  22. I am with you. BPA, the Bills have a bunch of holes so serendipitously filling a need at the same time shouldn't be a problem. I think they will draft a QB in RD 1 or 2 though. New regime won't make the same mistake as the last. If you want to be employed 3 years later you better have a QB that is a top 15 starter, at least.
  23. Agree, BPA in round one. One of the seven QBs will be there in round two. The Bills need immediate starters with pro bowl potential over reaching for development QB.
  24. http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/8871864/manti-teo-acknowledges-lying-first-tv-interview Phone records indicate a massive number of phone calls.
  25. Is going on Katie a good idea? Perhaps. The story is dying but I guess if you want it out there and to serve as a cautionary tale it makes sense. Perhaps it will save the GMs time at the combine, they won't have to go through the same questions. There is no question that Te'o will be gone in the first, probably top 20. He played poorly against Bama but there is plenty of tape out there that is pretty good.
