  1. When Fitz gets to the playoffs, let alone wins a SB, I will be the first to admit I was wrong.
  2. Good post. Prepare to be brutally attacked by the Fitz lovers on this board with excuses such as: - We lost FJ - He's throwing to horrible WR's - He played with cracked ribs, a bruised sternum and non-communicable leprosy (OK, I made that last one up) They will ignore the fact that he has never been a QUALITY starter in all of his years, he cannot consistently throw an accurate deep ball or that we will never see a playoff game with him as a starting QB.
  3. Best part of that pic is the woman sitting behind him.
  4. I wouldn't mind actually generating a pass rush, then see how our secondary plays. Tough to cover for 5 seconds in the NFL, no matter who you are.
  5. Just highlited why I am correct. And where, in any post I have ever written, do I ever say high flying offenses win Superbowls alone? Where have I ever written that we are a Superbowl team with only a franchise QB? The past two guys who have attempted to prove me wrong have fabricated fictitious things I have never stated to prove their point. When you come across some concrete evidence, let me know. Until then, STFU. I will be the FIRST PERSON to come here and say, "I was wrong" if Fitz takes us to the playoffs. I hope I have to do it because it means we ended our playoff drought. I just don't see it happening with Fitz at the healm, an argument I will not back away from until I am proven wrong.
  6. One point at a time. The quote you attribute to me was never stated by me and, therefore, your point is moot. Fitz was two bad passes from beating the Champs, but then isn't that my point? He needs to make those throws. Moral victories do not win Superbowls, which needs to be the goal every year. "Almost" separates winners from losers. You don't believe in franchise QBs. I do. Point to your two or three times a Dilferesque QB won the big one. That's fine. The QB is the most important guy on the field. Ask the Bears fans if they feel franchise QBs are important. As for validation of my concept, you've done nothing to refute it except misquote me, blame an injury to FJ and state that needing a franchise QB is a myth. The minute you made the last point you truly showed how ignorant about professional football you are. And by stating you don't believe in them, you are in fact supporting my position at Fitz is indeed mediocre and certainly not a franchise QB.
  7. Perhaps the dumbest thing written here and that's saying something. I have been outspoken about our need for a franchise QB and have argued vehemently about how I believe Fitz will never take this team to the playoffs regardless of the talent around him. People (PDad) have taken this to believe I hate Fitz and wish him to fail. Nothing is further from the truth. I want Fitz, if he is our QB, to win a Superbowl. However I am a realist and do not believe Fitz can get us to the playoffs, let alone a Superbowl. People can disagree, that's fine. I have read endless reports on how Eli was almost run out of town, blah blah, blah. No doubt Eli has a better supporting cast. No doubt his defense is great. But Fitz is no Eli, no Brees, no Brady. But anyone who thinks Fitz even approaches his level knows nothing about football. Fitz has always been and always will be average at best. We will never get to the promised land with him. Period.
  8. Awesome. Fodder for the Fitz apologists. I look forward to another year of mediocrity, the eighth overall pick and the exact same Fitz debate for the next two years.
  9. Exactly. Two things Fitz will never be.....
  10. What's to refute? You base your opinion on 5 games. I base mine on a career of mediocrity. I won't change your man-love for Fitz. However, until he takes us to a playoff game, I am right.
  11. He was franchise enough to enter the HoF debate. Fitz won't even be remembered in 5 years except when I am here saying "I told you so."
  12. I would B word about it.....he'd have trouble hitting the 300 yard out.
  13. th I don't hate Fitz. I love the Bills. And I do not think Fitz can get us to the playoffs. I have seen your references to Warner before. When he went to the Giants, he had a ring. Fitz has not seen the playoffs in his career. You seem to think that any QB can win with the right team. I disagree. Fitz has too many weaknesses that teams can exploit. He will never get us to the playoffs...and if he does, I will be the first one to say you are right. Amen. Amen x 2.
  14. Brady has his team in the Superbowl yet again. When has Fitz had a winning season? A season is 16 games, not 6. I have no reason to insult your intelligence. You're doing fine all by yourself.
  15. Click his link, it leads to a video of a Ravens fan.
  16. You consistently blame the team around him. The team around him did not throw two underthrown picks in the Giants game. The team around him did not cause teams to jam the LOS and expose his horrendous deep ball. He is mediocre and has always been mediocre, regardless of the team around him.
  17. Here we just take the french out back, beat the crap out of them and send them to Manitoba.
  18. Ouch. Things are much better here in the beautiful province of Saskatchewan....
  19. Lost in all of this is the fact that when taxes are raised, you are assuming those collecting them will use them in a rational, intelligent manner. I know I am a Canadian, but from my point of view, I'm not sure I'd trust any level of American government to spend wisely at this point.
  20. In the comments section: Dave I don't recall anything that said that the Bruins had to vote for Obama as a requirement to visit the with him at the White House or did I miss something? Timmy - when the President of the United States says "Come visit me and let me shake your hand" you do it because it's a big deal. If you don't like the politics or the size of the government, that's another story for another day. The thing is, if he just spoke out, there would be no story, so it was the perfect time to make a decision. I am neutral, as I am Canadian, but I admire him for doing what he believes is right.
