  1. I'd make that deal, but would want a three year guarantee on the meatballs.
  2. HUGE difference between a starting QB and RB in terms of value.
  3. Actually, No Saint had you pegged in the very first reply. And there was a lot of talk about Mario Williams before the draft.
  4. Because they are all waaaaay more talented than Fitz will ever be.
  5. Will Coples or Ingram or Upshaw, who people seem to want at 10 get us to the playoffs quickly?
  6. Yet you always have to comment when you see something that is less than flattering to Fitz. You must be awful bored.
  7. Why wait? Michael Floyd would be fine by me.
  8. If you feel these discussions are too outlandish for you, why do you partake in them time after time after time?
  9. Switching to a 3 - 4 ruined his cover skills? I'll play your game. I hope we draft 100% defense, so we improve as you say. Then we should be a playoff team within 2 years. If not, EPIC FAIL for 14 years and counting. Where will you look then?
  10. Give me an offense that scores 1 point more than we allow in every game and I'll be happy.
  11. I wonder if PDad is capable of a coherent, well thought out post like this.
  12. Nobody has ever stated "GET QB,WIN SB IMMEDIATELY". Nor has anyone ever stated "OUR DEFENSE IS GOOD ENOUGH TO WIN THE PLAYOFFS." Look at our first round draft picks on defense since 2006: Whitner, McCargo, Maybin, McKelvin, Dareus. I'd argue that Dareus is the only "impact" player in the bunch, especially for where we picked. Is a first round QB a sure thing? Absolutely not. But neither is a first round defensive player. To state that the NFL is a passing league is BS is to, well, admit you have your head in the sand or perhaps somewhere elese the sun doesn't shine. Look at the starting QB's for the SB champs since 2004. Everyone is considered a "franchise" QB who can win games in the 4th quarter. Try and deny that. Were they good teams as well? Absolutely. I've never stated that we were awesome everywhere. However, QB is the MOST important position in the NFL, not the ONLY position, as you seem to think I think.
  13. I'm more of a clean cut kinda guy. Wait...what are we talking about?
  14. Your entire first paragraph of that post is irrelevant without the topic sentence. We know that the Rams are trying to deal the pick....hence the reference to the "Manning-like deal" they are looking to score. I agree with you about having a better defense. I've never stated otherwise. I also still maintain, as always, that I do not think Fitz can get us to the playoffs.
  15. From Rotoworld: The Cleveland Plain Dealer's Terry Pluto believes the price for the Browns to trade up to No. 2 overall is both 2012 first-round picks as well as the 2013 first-rounder. NFL Insider Charley Casserly agrees, suggesting a trio of first-rounders could clinch the deal. With rookie salaries deflated, multiple teams desperately in need of a franchise savior, and the top two quarterbacks set in stone, the Rams will simply take advantage of supply-and-demand while throwing Jimmy Johnson's point-value trade chart out the window. Pluto's suggestion lends more credence to the weekend report that the Redskins realize they will need to part with their top three 2012 picks and "at least" their 2013 first-round pick to land RGIII. 16. Why would the Rams ever go for that deal when there are teams willing to give three first rounders for that pick? I'd love to get him and say try and make the deal...but that's fantasy to think they are taking a deal similar to what you proposed.
  17. The post did not mention anything about "going to go for Peyton". It stated the Rams want a "Manning-like deal", which refers to the haul San Diego received when they traded Eli to the Giants. And yes, shooting for .500 should be the goal of every franchise.
  18. Wait....is Michael Bush black?
  19. Word is they will sign Michael Bush.
  20. Agreed. I have never solely blamed Fitz for our season. My premise is and has always been that I don't think Fitz can get us to the playoffs. Therefore I feel we should make a bold move and try and get RGIII.
  21. Cunningham and Moon are awesome comparisons. But who the hell would want them on our team?
  22. Actually, he is a passing QB who can run. Kind of like Aaron Rodgers. You know, except for the whiteness.
  23. I guess when I hear of our interest in DEs who have huge question marks just to satisfy an obvious need, I think ok, retrospectively what if it was Maybin, Spiller, a 2 and a 3. Would anyone here say no?
