  1. A QB can't fill the leadership vacuum of a Sean Payton. The head coach is a fairly important position in the NFL. Ask any Bills' fan.
  2. He won the franchise a ring, something I'm guessing the "most talented" team in the league would love to have.
  3. Having an interim to the interim head coach may be contributing to the record. Just sayin'.
  4. Wow. Tears in my eyes. Thank you.
  5. He got it done in the early 90's.
  6. Total 180 from what I feel now.
  7. I think you are fed up with that. I'm certainly not. I'd say Best Player is correct. Picks is a backup at best and once OBD comes to that realization, we can keep running the ball and shed that brutal contract we signed him to.
  8. Yes! QBR! It tells the whole story! If I was there, I'd have booed as well.
  9. Brady started his last two years at Michigan and was a sixth round pick. When speaking about your obvious limited IQ, I did not use "you're". Schaub rode the pine for the Falcons, not the Texans. Why bring up Theismann? Why not mention Y.A. Tittle as well? If you think Pickspatrick will ever be "elite", your (note spelling) football knowledge is rather limited. There is not a person outside Bills' fans who believes this. Accept it and hope he's shackled in favor of the run game for the remainder of the season. I won't call you "partner" or say you were "owned".
  10. The offensive line was definitely not the issue last week.
  11. I was responding to the post above mine and I could care less what most are concerned about.
  12. Exactly. So keep running.
  13. Keep running the ball. Run to set up pass. Please.
  14. Not going to matter. Alabama, as much as I despise Saban, looks invincible.
  15. It would be awesome to bring Aikman, Emmitt and Irvin out of retirement too. Enough with the tired retreads. We need a young, motivating force at HC.
  16. This. We need someone young and hungry. This. This. Why do our game plans centre around an almost mediocre QB and a less than talented WR corps? Denver changed their entire offensive philosophy to cater to Tebow's lack of passing acumen, while this year it is fast paced because they have Peyton. We have the potential to have a great running game. Use it and play action off of it. I don't know that you can win the SB with a mediocre QB regardless of how smash mouth your running attack is in today's NFL, but I agree that with Fitz, we are guaranteed not to win if we keep using the spread. I'm with you....let's start pounding the ball, reducing crippling INT's and keep our defense off the field. This. Areas of weakness on offense: QB and WR. Featured in the spread: QB and WR. Not an equation for success.
  17. Did not miss it. Reach.
  18. Just turned 45....Pickspatrick threw 3 INTs as a birthday present. I have always loved football and became a Bills fan when my dad bought me a magazine that said Buffalo was going to the Superbowl. Joe Ferguson was QB and I believe it was 1979. I am the only Bills fan I know, which makes a lonely club on Sundays. I love them though and will never leave, which will make the playoffs, when they come, so much more sweet.
  19. Lol. Let's break this down: The USA Today article you reference states this about Losman - "J.P. Losman's career interception rate (2.73%) was lowest in Tulane history." That's it. Those are the only words written about him. What a ringing endorsement! They also had him the fourth ranked QB in his class, which is like being the 4th best looking chick in class. Someone's gotta be fourth. The football heavyweight, www.business.highbeam.com, states Mike Martz likes 10 QB's in the draft, one of them being Losman. It then goes on to state his measurables and that he is ranked fourth. Big effing deal. Finally, your last article, your ace in the hole that "further confirms Losman wasn't really a reach" states: Positives: J.P. Losman has the physical attributes you want in an NFL quarterback. He has good size (6-3, 220) and strength, a very strong arm that can make all the throws including the deep out, and one of the quickest releases in all of college football. Losman has decent agility, and good speed. He also has above average athletic ability. He can make plays with his feet and can throw on the run. He's a fiery competitor, a tough leader and can take a hit. He doesn't get shaken often. Negatives: Losman doesn't set his feet real well, throws off his back foot often causing the ball to sail, and doesn't rotate his hips properly. At Tulane, he played mostly out of the shotgun and will have to adjust to playing under center. He tends to rush his throws at times and will force the pass too often. Sometimes tries to make too much happen by himself. Also needs to work on reading coverages a little better. Projection: Tulane's J.P. Losman has everything NFL scouts look for in a quarterback, but he needs to polish his game a little, especially his footwork. He should be selected anywhere from the late-first to second round of the 2004 NFL Draft. Look at the negatives! That's exactly what I do NOT want from my starting QB! And history has proven he WAS a reach, largely for the reasons your ace-in-the-hole article references. The Bills panicked and it cost us yet again.
  20. Just curious, but who gushed over Losman?
