  1. If I only caught 6 passes for 82 yards after absolutely schooling Patrick Peterson all day, I'd probably hate my QB too.
  2. That's like saying, "Hey, my restaurant business is breaking even. Sure I have a quality control problem and a serious issue with the staff providing service, but at least I'm not losing money!" We are a 3 - 3 team. We need to improve many things, QB play and coaching decisions being at or near the top of the list. Why can't you understand this?
  3. Let's hope Gailey realizes that the more we run and the less we rely on Fitz, the better we are.
  4. I hear everyone saying TJax is a lateral move, but I'd like to see it happen so I can make that observation on my own.
  5. I live in Saskatchewan, Canada, so that pretty much dictates you are a Rider fan (CFL). However, I'm not a huge CFL guy, so the Bills have been my football team. I have a pretty diverse list of teams, geographically speaking: Bills - started to cheer for them when I was 12, in 1979. Lakers (my Dad is a huge Celtics fan) Orioles - this year was a great ride Hurricanes - I became a Whalers fan when they came into the league in 1980 because everyone around here was Canadiens, Leafs or Bruins, who I hate. Michigan is my favourite college, though I always wanted to coach football at USC (weather and cheerleaders may have something to do with that). So I have championships from the Riders, Lakers, Orioles and Canes. Michigan shared one in the Griese years, but that was like kissing your sister.
  6. I don't read Walter Football and Fitz himself said he has been inconsistent, PFF just reported it. I also understand what these guys are saying about the so called double standard. However, if you look at my post history, I have never thought Fitz is the answer at QB. I get that he's a better option than Thigpen, I'm not convinced he's better than Jackson. I think that Jackson probably could not be worse. Maybe "supporters of Fitz" was a misleading phrase. I support Fitz because he is the QB of the Bills and I want them to win. However, i am sick and tired of the band aid solutions at the most important position in the game. I am sick and tired of people trying to convince me Fitz is a good QB. He's not. He's never been. He never will be. We have not seen the playoffs this century. There are many more things wrong with this team than the QB, but it's amazing what a good QB (see Manning, Peyton) can do for a team in this league. I just wish we had the opportunity to find out. Just refuting your statement. If that's a problem, don't say anything to begin with.
  7. Here's another one. Boogidy Man.
  8. Here's a start, but none of the above posts acknowledge Fitz's shortcomings. They seem to support him as our starting QB.
  9. Every person who loves Fitz on this board because we were 5 - 1 a year ago. Let it go, man.
  10. Well, my friend, this is a thread about Pickspatrick, so I thought it prudent to comment on him. But here ya go: Graham is a rookie and therefore has not given me a string of disappointing performances (yet). Was I pissed at the dropped ball? Absolutely. Freddie has been stellar for this team and was our MVP before getting hurt last season. Was I pissed he fumbled? Absolutely. However I am an intelligent enough man to understand people make mistakes. What I am also smart enough to realize is that Pickspatrick, who plays the most important position on the team, has been consistently inconsistent, makes numerous mistakes time and time again and is not really a very good QB. In fact, Picks seems to agree with me more than you: http://profootballta...ted-the-season/ If Pickspatrick himself says he hasn't played well, then why do people keep insisting he's not a major problem?
  11. No response needed. Thanks for looking that up for me. LOL
  12. Imagine their numbers if we had a starting calibre NFL QB.
  13. I don't want it both ways (that's what she said). However, the bleeding might have stopped if Fitz actually could, you know, throw an accurate pass beyond 15 yards. His inconsistency in directing this offense to sustained drives, nevermind scoring drives, is killing the team as much as our horrible defensive play. I'd submit nobody could look at the defense in that last game as the culprit and anybody with an iota of football knowledge could see that Stevie owned Peterson all day but was consistently missed by Fitz. The QB is never "just on the team" in the NFL. He directs the offense, audibles the play and protection and is the focal pont of the offense. People love throwing out the Dilfer and Brad Johnson lines, but today's NFL is much different. The WR's have way more freedom and protection than they did back then. The QB is the single most important position on the team. Ours sucks. I said he choked. That's not a pass. But your logic states that Fitz's missing a wide open RB in the flat is ok because he made an accurate pass the play before. That logic is flawed.
  14. So Fitz gets a pass because a rookie choked? Graham should have caught the pass, yes, but hat drop does not absolve Fitz of hitting a wide open Freddie a play later.
  15. Fitz was on the team that won the game. However, he did not win the game. Byrd's pick and Feely's miss won us the game. I'd argue that if he could have completed a 6 yard checkdown to Freddie in OT, we could have kicked a potential GW FG instead of punting.
  16. I've never seen him play in this offense. I'd enjoy that opportunity.
  17. Canadian here: I'd say Obama is getting owned again.
  18. I hate to say I told ya so, but this is pretty much what I have been trumpeting all along. I wish Picks was good, but dammit, he's not. I would love to see this team with a franchise QB. I think we'd be much better, poor defensive efforts notwithstanding. However, I still maintain a bad defense looks worse when your offense turns the ball over or consistently fails to sustain drives. Regardless, this team will never reach the promised land until we bring in a legit QB.
  19. Pretty good, in fact.
  20. You forgot the horrendous won / loss record and failure to throw the long ball, but I'm with ya. I want him gone immediately too.
  21. If Chuck throws a ball like he swings a golf club, I'll pass.
  22. I wish the draft was today. And tomorrow. And next week.
  23. Of course we'll win enough to pick 7th.
  24. Can't argue. The kid looks damn good.
